We both expected a different Chargers D from the start of this season.........still waiting for it.

How will they stop us? Well we can't run the ball, so that takes half our offense away.

So they will man up on our recievers, pin their ears back and blitz the hell out of Rivers. Dumerville will smoke McNeil or Clary depending on what side he's on, and they will flush Rivers out of the pocket by overwhelming that douchebag Murzkowski.

Brady is sharp as a marble right now.

    We couldn't run effectively.

The Broncos defense is for real.

    Orton had a good day.

The Pats played half of a football game....which is never a good thing.

I love the look of the throwbacks, but, I hate the results with them.

The Pats never play a full game.

I can't tell you how often I see them get their asses handed to them for 1 half or 3 quarters of the game, and all they do is hang in long enough for Brady to get the ball with 2mins left.....thanks to a fumbled pick, thanks to a muffed punt, thanks to a bad call, etc...etc...

The Pats have always been more lucky than good.

Same here as to how I feel about both teams.
I prefer that Denver won, I want the Chargers to WIN the division by playing better and winning the most games to achieve that, rather than win it by default....like last year.

I disagree, but you're entitled to your opinion.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. The Pats are a "decent" team this year. Denver beat us straight up.

You guys are in for a street fight. You haven't proven that you can handle that, yet, this year.

Good luck. I've got my own team to worry about at this point.

Can't give Denver too much credit today. Brady, missed some plays he usually makes. Plus the refs gave a helping hand to the donkeys on key plays. Good luck the rest of the way too. We'll hopefully meetup in the playoffs.

Hope you guys enjoyed the game as much as I did, especially the ending.

We're for real this year, no melt downs going to give you the division. If you get it, you'll have earned it.

I especially liked the drive where we stopped them three times.

When we come in on Monday night expect a fight. I don't think it'll be easy but I expect the Broncos to win it.

Rivers has a way in the fourth of finding ways to score.

Did you know that the Broncos have out scored their opponent 59-7 (+52) in the second half.

    Out gained them 1,158-501

Teams are 2 of 30 on third downs.

The Donk's beat the Pat's and I'm sure they will come to our crib looking to turn out the lights. I don't think they are a great team but much improved over last years version.

It's time for our player's to show up, if not the Donk's will take this game. No excuses, no slow start, take the game to the Donk's and don't let up. They are very beatable.

Brady hits that pass and it's GAME OVER. The whole game Denver was 1 play away from defeat. Unfortunately for the Pats (and us), The Pats just aren't sharp right now, and Denver, to their credit, is capitalising on teams making mistakes.

I will give the Broncos credit, they are playing inspired ball, they are keeping the games close, and they are finishing.

We are in for a hell of a game next week. Our season is on the line, no doubt. I'm so pumped.

Enjoy your mile high air if it helps with halucinations. Fall apart? You are just FIVE games into a new coaching staff. You assume you are completely together because through your good fortune you found a Romo who sucks... and the Pats who aren't that what they once were.

Defeat the Chargers... THEN you can talk. Me thinks you'll soon be back to being the Orange Mush.

Brady's passing has been way off...the pass to Randy Moss who was all alone in the end zone looked like an intimidated rookie toss. Terrible.

Denver played a good defensive game and Brady and the Patriots didn't play up to there level. I am not surprised the Pats have been playing poorly this season almost losing to Buffalo.

    Denver beat two teams.

The Cowboys that almost lost to the KC chiefs and the Pats which has their own problems.

Chargers are stumbling as well, however I can hope we turn it a round. The 49ners looked like at team as good if not better than Denver. However, they just got trampled by an Atlanta team that was struggling early on.

Rivers and Chargers play Denver well. Just like Denver plays the Pats well. Some teams have other teams numbers. A slightly better defense won't change that. Denver allows a lot in the middle and some wide open long passes. Passes the Chargers are very good at.

Patriots will win next week at home. They play the 0-5 Titans who's season is over already. They are only playing for pride. They have no shot at winning the division, and there are too many teams this year going to have decent records fighting for that wildcard spot. Patriots will be 4-2 after next week.

(Although I'm DEFINITELY rooting for the Titans !!!)

    You bastard! :icon_toast:

I have the Pats at 6-5 going in to December. They'll finish 10-6 and pick up the Wild Card.
