    Exactly - the best way for him to learn things like avoiding those penalties is on the field.

    Speaking of moves, Gates' change of direction is un-human.
    In the Aints game they replayed his insane juke of a linebacker
    attempting to cover him. Definitely a basketball move. I believe
    Rivers didn't see him because he was running for his life, but
    the move was sweet nonetheless.

    Not sure how a unit with the experience of the Chargers (Jammer, Spikes, Johnson) allows that momentum to enter the picture. They still had the Saints on the ropes. Rewatching the game yesterday, the DL was the unit that looked noticeably different after that play. Oh, and the coaches decided that English should be Phillips replacement when Phillips went down. Not ever going to understand that decision.

    I agree that the play SHOULDN'T have shaken the defense's resolve - but it certainly appeared to.

    I'm officially done with English. Time to send him packing like we did Buster.
