Now that my boy Ray Lewis is retiring I am pulling for the Ravens. His son is also going to be playing for The U next season.
Skins. My family is originally from Maryland and after the Colts fiasco all converted to Washington, so I guess it's kind of in my blood. I'll then root for whoever beats them, if they lose.
I've got to stay on the Left Coast. I'll take Seattle since they were part of the old AFC West and because they were robbed in their last Super Bowl attempt. Add to that a not-so-prototypical QB and a running back that had one of the greatest runs I've ever seen..."Hey Porter, you're mah biatch!" and I'm sold. Go Hawks!
Colt vs Redskins Superbowl would be awesome. 1st and 2nd picks in the draft going up against each other
I don't see it happening, but I don't see it all that far fetched either. Both teams are playing at a high level right now. That being said, my honest prediction would be Broncos or Patriots vs Packers or Seattle.
The Bengals have never won a road playoff game. They'd have to do that 3 times to get to the Super Bowl.
Redskins have been my number two team behind the Chargers ever since they beat Denver in the 88 Superbowl. So I'm pulling for them for the NFC. for the AFC, pretty much anybody but Denver would be ok. But I'd like to see the Texans bounce back and make it to the bowl.
Who ever is playing the Broncos each week. I just want the Broncos to lose, lose bad, and lose quickly
Baltimore or SF. Although I hate Joe Flacco, my favorite non-Chargers have always been Randy Moss and Ray Lewis, so would love for either one to get a ring. Teams I really don't want to win: Denver - Obviously. I also don't want Peyton to win, the media already swings from his nuts way too much. New England - Don't want Bellicheat to win another trophy. Atlanta - Don't know why, but I can't stand Matty Ice.
NFC I'm partial to the Seahawks/49ers/Packers. AFC I'm partial to the Ravens. Though, I wouldn't be upset if the Texans or Colts did some damage and went all the way either. I kinda love Andrew Luck and the Colts won me over after making Detroit cry into their Wheaties.
Skins & Packers for the NFC. I think RG III is amazing. My wife's a packers fan so as the saying goes "happy wife, happy life." For the AFC, just don't want it to be Denver.
I'm pulling for the Seahawks. Love me some Russell Wilson bigtime. Accidentally put some money down on the Packers during the season, so if we're talking with the wallet then the Pack too. As long as Denver lose early I'm happy.
I've always loved the Ravens as my 2nd team. Lewis is one of my favorite players of all time, and Suggs is probably my favorite players in the league.
I can see the Skins getting further than the Colts. The Colts are the first team I'm aware of to make the playoffs with a negative point-differential for the season (as in they gave up more points than they scored and still made the playoffs). I can't help but see them as last season's Bengals, a team that rode a last place schedule to a WC berth and are walking into a buzzsaw in Baltimore (as the Colts were absolutely wrecked by any of the higher power-ranking teams they faced this year). I'm pulling for the Vikings - just because I want to see Peterson troll the pass-happy league, particularly if he unfairly gets passed over in the MVP race for Peyton. It won't happen, but I'd love to see it. Sadly, unless the Ravens just go on a tear, I hate to say it but the league is going to do everything in their power to get one of Peyton or Brady in the SB. So if/when the Vikes go out, I'm riding the team I have the most confidence in being able to beat one of those two... which oddly enough is Seattle, IMO.
Living in New England, I would love nothing more than the Patriots to go out first round. As long as I don't see them win the Super Bowl again, I don't care who does. But, since I did attend the San Fran @ New England game and rooted for the 9ers, simply because I have a shitload of family from the Santa Clara/San Fransisco area and they came over in mid-December for this game, I'm rooting for the 9ers. Also, Patrick Willis is one of my favorite players to watch in the league too.
Houston Texans because I was born in Texas (and I sure as hell do not follow the Cowboys), after that I have to follow the San Francisco '49ers (to support my state since '68).
1. Seatrolls because they are so fun to watch and so their fans are awesome 2. Niners because only team left that a member of my family loves (my dad's team, mom = Pitt, bro = Buff, dont ask how this happened lol) 3. Packers because I've always liked them 4. Skins because RG3 5. Failcons 6. Vikings 7. Texans 8. Bengals 9. Colts 10. Ravens 11. Patriots 12. Broncos
Really i just want too see the Colts go to Denver and Luck kick Mannings ***! after that the SeaHawks or Bengals
