I can't get into the chat room - keeps giving me the following error no matter what browser I use. Going to try and reboot and see if it helps. I have googled and gone to different sites but can't find a download to fix this. Seems like the daemon policy is something the server needs not me right? [20:27:08] Running lightIRC 1.1 Build 30. I saw the same thing. Went away when I reinstalled Adobe Flash. But after about 5 minutes of being in the chatroom, I got disconnected and couldn't get back in. Saw the same error as before too. Audio still rolled, but no chat.
I will be adding a link/info at the bottom of the chatroom to upgrade your flash easily if you are not able to see it. Sorry for the issues!
Last week, I did update Flash and tried to get into the chatroom on two different computers. Same problems.
Can you describe the problem a little bit and tell me what OS and browser you are using? (browser version would be helpful)
If you look at the first post here, the one by Syd, you'll see the error I'm getting. On my computer I'm running Windows 7 Pro w/SP1, Firefox 3.6.23 and IE 8. Flash is the latest version. On the other computer, it was Windows 7 Pro SP1, Firefox 7.01 & IE8. Flash was also the latest version.
I am now using the external chat script. (same program but hosted at another location) I am hoping this was a one off issue. If it continues to be a problem, I am going to be switching chat programs entirely.
