"What we worry about most...are those unknown, unknowns,...the things we don't know, that we don't know." ~ author unknown
Great quote B4L! I used to suffer from horrible anxiety/panic attacks. And that quote puts everything into perspective. Haven't had a major attack in about 12 years. Read a lot of self-help books to recover.
All is good! SOS different day.....chased Barky Barky Retardo again this afternoon for almost an hour after he weaseled his way out my front door. "SIGH" Spent all day yesterday at the Little League park. Good news....Tom the Manager and my son Brendan's team went from being the Bad News Bears team all season.....they won their division! WOOOOO-HOOOO! Then Brendan won the Home Run Derby contest for his division. They lost the All-Star game by 2 runs tho... Not a bad week-end except for baby-sitting my step-sons two little girls last nite. I swear to God ....I think I was given all boys for a reason. The frigging whining, crying, screaming and drama chit about did me in!
"Whatever you would have your children become, strive to exhibit in your own lives and conversation". ~~~Lydia H. Sigourney
"Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact." ~~~William James
"Family" means more than just the people who share your bloodline. You need not live in the same house or grow up with the same last name in order to be a family. The only requirement is a bond of love and support. ~~~author unknown
"I have a suggestion that I think would help fight serious crime. Signs. There are lots of signs for minor infractions: No Smoking, Stay Off the Grass, Keep Out, and they seem to work fairly well. I think we should also have signs for major crimes: Murder Strictly Prohibited, NO Raping People, Thank You for Not Kidnapping Anyone. It's certainly worth a try. I'm convinced Watergate would never have happened if there had just been a sign in the Oval Office that said, Malfeasance of Office Is Strictly Against the Law, or Thank You for Not Undermining the Constitution." The late George Carlin
Here is one for the UT GN people.........If you can't tolerate other's beliefs, you can't expect others to tolerate yours.
Look at the timing. Game123 posts a GC quote at 11:03 PM and another at 11:16 PM. Turtle announces his passing at 11:32 PM. Weird, huh? :icon_eek:
I'm just good, huh? Did you notice I put in 'The late' before his name? I'm still up this hour of the night hammering out manufacturing client's websites. Business is booming and I'm sitting pretty right now!
Our children learn only what we teach them. If we allow ourselves to fly, to dream, to love~~they will do the same.
He is a wise man who does not grieve for the things which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has. ~~~Epictetus
