can u believe some pansy on wrote this on the Raider Forum??

have you even seen our defense?...I'll take Morrison over little princess Merriman any time...Morrison can tackle, has great instincts for the run, can cover TE's or RB's, and blitzes the QB well!!!

little princess is just great at the blitz and at run support..

Sounds like someone is in a bit of denile to me.

Rookie Kirk Morrison was picked on in coverage last year: he tackled receivers an average of 9.5 yards downfield, the worst figure in the NFL for a starter.

He must have a different version of "coverage".

Morrison is like Demeco Ryans without the coverage skills.

Raiders defense? I thought they were in the cellar with the rest of that team. How can a Raider fan even open his mouth a say anything after they sign Jeff George from the retirement home? :icon_huh:

I think the bottom line is that Shawne Merriman went to the probowl last year, while Kirk Morrison watched it on his couch.:icon_toast:

Raiderfans would kill to have a guy like Shawne Merriman. The Chargers havn't had a player like him in a long time. They're also sour that the Chargers nailed guys like Tomlinson and Gates strait out of the draft. It's been a while since Oakland has made an impact in the Draft. Brown Hole fans i believe are truly jelous of our team right now.

Gates was not a Charger draft choice...he was a UDFA...which makes it even better...:icon_mrgreen:
