The Raider bandwagon is a unique one. You get a lot of guys who aren't even really football fans, they just think wearing that Raiders gear gives them some sort of image. These are the same guys who wear Harley ****, but have never ridden a bike.
There was some classic moments for me when we hosted the Raiders in 2006 in late November. 1.) There was a guy walking by in a reaper's robe with a skull mask and gloves. Normally, I would have thought it looked cool but come to think of it... it did look stupid considering it was late November. So I yelled "Trick or Treat!!!" He gave me the finger and was trying to yell back at me through the mask. CLASSIC!!! 2.) I walked out during half time just to get away from the crowd. I saw a Raiders fan being escorted out in hand cuffs. His face was all busted apart. Obviously, it was a really bad fight. The sun was glaring so I began to walk away. Someone called my name. I heard "Allan." That was the police officer escorting him out. His wife was my girlfriend's employer. He took one hand away to shake my hand. I asked "busy today?" He busted our laughing!!!!
Ok captain obvious, go back and re-read what you quoted me on. Try to understand what i was saying before you regurgitate the same thing using different verbiage.... Nevermind, here it is in plain english. The Raiders have not played well enough to pick up fairweather, bandwagon type fans in the past few years, so there should be none to be found. Now, doesnt that sound similar to what you said? Enjoy the season guys, hopefully none of your guys get popped for steriods or get hurt. I want to see them in full force so that theres no excuses. According to you guys, Chargers should destroy anyone who gets in there way, we'll see..
Interesting comment considering it was YOUR team that pioneered the use of steroids in the NFL. Or have you forgotten about Alzado?
nine what in a row? superbowls? afc championships? please be more specific. honestly i dont see anything else worth bragging about.
I thought we werent allowed to bring up the past charger fans???? You know, things like Alzados steroids and uh......3 SUPERBOWLS:icon_eek:
Hey, you flung the first steroid turd. I only reminded you of your so-called "teams" introducing it's usage to the NFL. Oh, and while we're at it, let's not forget about Romanowski. As for your teams rusting Lombardi's, I've got one question about that: HOW ARE THEY HELPING YOU WIN NOW? What? THEY'RE NOT?
Chargers victories over Raiders. No need to worry. It will be 11 in a row after the 2008 season!!! BTW... if you don't see any reason for Chargers fans to have bragging rights, maybe this will help. Last four seasons (2004-2007)... 46-18 Regular Season (including 8 in a row over the Raiders) 2-3 Post Season (could use improvement and is improving) 32 Touchdowns... NFL record set by LaDainian Tomlinson 25-7, 86.6 rating, 6688 yards, 44 touchdowns, 24 interceptions in Rivers first two seasons as a starter
Are you really this dense? :icon_rofl: Question for you. What year was it the last time the Raiders beat the Chargers? I seem to forget, it's been so long.
Apparently Jokeland pays their guys in monopoly money...You will be glad you spent that 60 mil when good ol' McFadden fumbles a half a dozen times in a two game span. Another thing WTF is Javon Walker thinking, like life is going to be so much better in Oakland? What??
The point i was trying to make is that unless its an afc/nfc championship or a superbowl championship, once the seasons over theres nothing to show for it. Of course one could look on a good season and say their team is improving and thats a pretty good pick me up, but there still is nothing to show for it. So ill concede, Chargers have had the Raiders number for quite some time, but have failed when it comes to the TRUE prize. All smack talk aside: Anyone can see that this coming season is yours for the taking. My best guess is the Chargers and the Cowboys in the last game....but then again Im always wrong at this time of the year. If you guys win the SB I will congratulate any charger fan i come across for bringing the lombardi back to the afc west and if you guys lose...Ima talk some ****:icon_tease: Raiders will be back on top the next season...things will not be easy for long, so enjoy it while you can.
Hmmm... I seem to remember the same thing being said last year, and the year before, and the year before that. Should I continue?
Why? I don't see ANYONE on the faiders who can inspire the team to win jack. None. Everyone of them is a "me first" money grubbing scrub. Some of them (Walker comes to mind) are washed up "me first" money grubbing scrubs.
One thing they have going for them is that I think Kiffen is a good coach and will be a NFL success eventually but not with the Raiders. Hell... if the Raiders weren't the Raiders, they might still have Gruden and be successful.
DON'T SUPPORT THE RAIDERS!!! Don't go to games that that **** hole known as the Coliseum because ALL you're doing is supporting the Raiders!! Don't buy Raiders jerseys and flags to burn because you have to buy them. So you supported the Raiders.
You're looking at this the wrong way! We must support Al & the Raiders!!!! as long he's in charge we will give them the annual twice a year beat down they just justly deserve!!!! RAIDERS SUCK!!!!:lol::lol:
For real!!! LONG LIVE AL DAVIS!!! His management is ****ing up that team soooo much. It's bad enough he can't resolve this Kiffen issue. He seems like he belongs in the NFL, but he has no chance to succeed with Al dictating everything. But on top of that, Al's personnel moves are garbage! Javon Walker for all that money!? All wasted by a champaign shower and a Las Vegas jacking. Tommy Kelly for all that $$!? he could've been had for less, and he isn't even that great, and is coming off an injury. Maybe they had to overpay him just to keep him in Oakland ha. And Kwame Harris at LT!? I thought one bust on the o-line was enough, do they want Gallery to have a kindred soul? McFadden? you have 3 decent RBs in the first place, the one area ur not hurting for and u go and draft there? U better hope he's a star 'cuz with no o-line help, he's worthless. But probably the worst move is freakin' DeAngelo Hall. He doesn't suck I guess, but you paid him all that money. WHAT ABOUT ASOMUGHA? That guy is ur best D-back, hell best on the whole defense, and he gets left out in the cold like that? Franchise him one year and now he'll bounce for a team who'll appreciate him. DeAngelo's $$ should've gone to Nmadi. He's a top corner in the league, and just got sh!tted on by Al Davis for nothing. Garbage!!!
Raiders suck, but they just may lose their bottom-feeder status in the AFCW this year. :icon_shrug: I'm hoping that the Denver Nags get to occupy that spot.
:flag:As I sit here trying to make an inteligent post about a team that are our rivals in our division ,I can't help but laugh at the fans that support that club and the management that runs and owns them. They have to know that they are the laughing stock of the NFL. If not then they are truly the most clueless people in the world bar none.
Every Raider fan prays for uncle Al to pass away tomorrow, every charger fan prays he lives to be 106!
