I am not fond of the whole 3 WR settings. I like 2WR, 2RB, and a flex position. Especially with the RB by committee trend. Good luck! :icon_toast:
I had a draft yesterday that I am almost embarrassed about. It is not one of my CoronaDoug leagues. I will post it and let you slam it. I am not too concerned because I usually make up ground in free agency. It is only a 8 team league so there are many players still available. 1. (3) Michael Turner 2. (14) Aaron Rodgers 3. (19) Roddy White 4. (30) Antonio Gates 5. (35) Matt Forte 6. (46) Mike Sims-Walker 7. (51) San Francisco 8. (62) Wes Welker 9. (67) Ricky Williams 10. (78) Malcom Floyd 11. (83) Marion Barber 12. (94) Vincent Jackson - Will drop after Sep 1. 13. (99) Santonio Holmes
Hi, as a new fan of Football, this year will be my first when it comes to fantasy football. Had my draft yesterday, but I would like comments on my team. As I am new to the sport, and the media cover here in norway is limited to a few notes about Brett Favre, I am not that familiar with other then the big names around the league, and of course the Bolts.. So here it goes: QB Philip Rivers RB Ray Rice RB Shonn Greene WR Chad Ochocinco WR Donald Driver WR Santana Moss TE Antonio Gates K Nate Keading DEF Ravens BN WR Devin Aromashodu BN QB Carson Palmer BN RB Donald Brown BN QB Sam Bradford BN TE Heath Miller BN RB Ronnie Brown
You should never draft more than one QB (just my strategy). Drop Palmer and Bradford. Also drop your Extra TE. This will give you 3 open spots to check out the waiver wire for extra WR or RB. It is a decent team but you will not win a Championship with this roster. You have to keep an eye on free agents every day. Look for injuries and grab their backups. Look and see if WR Santonio Holmes is available in your league. He will be back after week 4. Also I would have NEVER drafted Kaeding.
Thanks. Should i drop Palmer and Bradford right away, or should i wait and see if their value increase? Santonio Holmes is gone by the way... If you or anybody could be bothered to look at the avalible WR and RB in my league it would be great if you could tell me if there is anybody there worth trading my QB's for.. Bildr.no Bildr.no
Drop Bradford and get RB McGahee. He is a goal line guy and will get many short TD's. Drop TE Miller and get WR Williams or WR Massaquoi. Keep an eye on WR James Jones if one of the other Packer WR's get injured. Keep Palmer for now. Watch what the other teams in your league are dropping.
Thanx. My team did ok in week one. Tried to pick up Brandon Jackson, but someone else got him.. Quick question: Why does Antonio Gates have only 3.30 projected points in week 2 (nfl.com fantasy)?? I think he showed great form against the Chiefs, and made a couple of good plays...
Ignore projections. They are usually put out by someone who thinks they are an expert. Yahoo has Matt Forte getting 6 points this week.
