Ok, you probably noticed that the forum was down for a good part of the day.

The problem occurred because of a problem with the Bolt Cash system. There was a glitch that made it possible for a user to gain Bolt Cash unfairly. An additional problem was created when this glitch was used. It effected all users post count by removing any "1"s. For example, if your post count was 11,314 it would become 304, if it was 9,145 your post count would now be 9,045. Your Bolt Cash total may have also been affected, but not in the same way as your post count.

I believe I have fixed most, if not all of the users affected, but please check your post count and your Bolt Cash totals anyway. If you feel it is not correct, please send me a PM. However, please be patient if I don't get back to you right away. We have over 1,600 users here and even if only a small portion contact me it could take a while. I will however, check everyone that requests it.

Another result of this glitch is that I have temporarily removed the ability to give each other money. This will stop the glitch from happening for now. I have contacted the author of the Cash system and requested that he look into the glitch to find a fix. Once this glitch has been fixed, your ability to give others Bolt Cash will be restored.

Last year when we did the adopt-a-bolt, it was a mad rush with every just saying I want this player or that player. I worked very hard to try and create a system that was fair and gave everyone an opportunity to get the player he or she wanted. I'm going to be evaluating the adopt-a-bolt adoption program and will announce tomorrow the changes if any.
