    Speaking of "scaring" or confusing strangers.....

    Reminds me a game my dad and brothers used to play. They'd go out to the forest and my brothers would hide while dad would go off and count to a certain number..... Once finished counting he'd yell out their little secret name to give them the clue that he was coming looking for them and the hunt would be on...

    He was walking along the path... Stopped counting at the agreed upon time.... turned around with his stick over his head and yelled out the name... (really loud) Little did he know that a young couple was right behind him, taking what appeared to be a little romantic stroll.

    He thinks they both crapped their pants. :lol:

    Mine was at least a true story about my dad scarin' the hell out of some poor innocent souls that were taking a romantic walk.

    I think the pooping part was an embellishment of my dad's .... I assume he had no way of knowing for sure....

    So far so good.... He's been a sick puppy up until now... Things really should start looking up for him.....

    I've kept this rather quiet. He's had some Mitral Valve Prolapse for a while. However, during the winter he had untreated Strep which found its way to his heart valves and started growing. He ended up with SBE, Sub Bacterial Endocarditis.... which required hospitalization followed by weeks of IV antibiotics.

    His Mitral Valve was basically shot and was replaced today, about 15 weeks later.

    You know it was quite a trial for his family, especially his wife and kids. Oldest kid almost 20 and youngest just turned 6. There is also a 17 and 10 year old at home. Still keeping our fingers crossed. If everything continues to go as well as it has, he should have alot of good years left and be able to live a better life.

    I Hope and pray that he can have a whole lot of a life left. I do not think as my opinion that his family and yours could handle a loss like that right now. Too many trials to have to deal with.:icon_sad:
