It really does. Like I said, they didn't diagnose my mom's issue until she actually had a "spell" while attached to the heart monitor in the ER. Since she's had the pacemaker, no heart issues, but it is firing about 25% of the time now.

So sorry you & your family are going through this, Rexy. It's very upsetting. Keeping good thoughts for all of you.

Damn, dude!! Glad you're OK now.

It WAS a kick-*** night. Got to see a great New Orleans band, The Radiators, then a great jam band, Dark star Orchestra. Both put on very good shows, saw a lot of old friends, & didn't suffer from it too much the next day at work, even with only 3 hrs. of sleep!

Guess the old guy can still party a little!!

    It's official. I'm going crazy.:icon_tease:

I just talked to my bro-in-law because my sis was too tired to talk.

She has been in and out of the ER several times in the last few days. Back and forth, from El Cajon to La Jolla. They have had a heart monitor on her and it showed no irregularities. As well as any other tests they've done have showed nada.

Now, they are trying to get an approval for a brain MRI.

Rexy, is your sis wearing a continuous heart monitor? Just curious. I'm sure she's being managed well, just wondering if they are monitoring her rhythm only while she's in the ERs or if they are continuously monitoring her. Have they even considered keeping her overnight again?

Not a continuous heart monitor that I know of. I talked in length to my brother in law yesterday. He said they've done extensive heart tests and found nothing.

I think if she had ended up back there yesterday, they would have kept her. My BIL is going crazy driving her back and forth.

He's not as aggressive as I like to be in those situations. I would have pestered the insurance to get that MRI approved STAT. I also would have pushed to keep her overnight, because she is going back almost every day anyways.

    Thanks, sd.

My Mom called today all wound up because her brother called her from San Antonio, out of the blue, and said, "Who's sick?" :icon_eek: He had a "feeling" that someone in SD was sick, but didnt know who.

It excited and freaked her out at the same time. She told me he has had "feelings" like this before.

    I was like, whoa.

Spurs beat the Nets 93-83 to win the back end of a back to back set, having beat Milwaukee last night!!

Tony Longoria (nee Parker) had 25 points!!

The Spurs play the Nets Tuesday at the AT&T Center to end the season series with the Nets.

    Go Spurs Go!!
