BTW, I haven posted it yet, but the Padres are slowly paring down their bullpen candidates. They let go Strickland yesterday and sent Stauffer down today...Looks like it might be Heath Bell and Kevin Cameron joining the rest of the bunch...

Like I posted in the Padre thread, ST is for preparation. Yes, the games dont count.

But,

The important thing is to get ready for the season. The pitchers are ready to go. The offense seems improved. Russell's weak bat sure improved as one example. He's got his power and his timing back the last 2 games, just in time to break camp.

Everyone's all fired up and ready to go. I cant ask for anything more than that. I'm a positive believer!

Padre's home opener is a week from this Friday. I, for one, and many others are counting the days until then.

Their season opener is next Tuesday in SF. Peavy vs. Zito. Im seriously thinking of playing hooky to watch it because it is a day game. That is one kick-ash match-up!!!

Well, with Wikipedia, most anyone can 'edit' an entry. In last year's US elections, supporters of many candidates would edit Wikipedia entries of their opponents and put in libelous material. Although they wanted to call it 'disinformation'. The Wikipedia moderators had to work overtime to frequently retract any changes and revert the articles back to original form.
