rep power

How does it work and how do I get out of ZERO?

In my User CP, it says I have 84 points total.

Rep other people, and leave your name in the little box. Then (hopefully) people will return rep to you and your little green squares will increase.

I don't know the exact rules (maybe Thumper or a mod can chime in) but I think you have to have 50 posts before your "Rep Power" shows a number above 0.

You can rep 6 people within a 24 hour period, but then have to wait until the next day before you can rep people again.

I think you have to rep 15 different posters before you can rep the same person again.

If you make enemies then you get negative rep. AKA red bombed.

You will get additional rep by mentioning Leisure's love for the bubble, Concudan really likes it when you call him names and Thumper will rep you for refering to him as a dirty old man, constantly.:lol:

Ok, if I remmeber correctly, here's the 411 on rep:

You have rep points and rep power. Rep power is what shows up next to your name on each post you make. Rep points is what you see in the user cp.

I believe conc is right. You need 50 posts for your rep power to show up. Your rep power can go up two ways.

1) By the number of posts you make. Your rep power goes up 1 for every 500 posts you make.

2) Every time someone reps you (positive rep) your rep points go up by however much rep power the person that repped you has. For every 250 rep points that show up in your user cp. you get one rep power.

Note: Negative rep takes points away from your rep points. You lose half a point for the amount of rep power the person giving you the negative rep has.

As for the tailgates, you know i'll always drop by just like last season. Its not far from E3 where my tailgate is.

I moved to Oregon, so I won't make all of the tailgaters in person. When I do make it down, I'll try and stop over at E3 also. I ussually try to make it to BoltTalk North (Mad Mike's tailgate), Scott & BR's tailgate, and the Michael's Pub tailgate over in the RV section. Lot's of walking, but it's great to see everyone.

What can I say? It's true. :icon_shrug:
