I keep seeing all the players that are either restructuing their deals or just taking a pay cut, it just leaves me wondering, we don't we tell Meacham and Clary that they need to take a pay cut or be release? By the way, i would only do it with Clary if he could and would move to OG because he is a terrible OT
Meachem is no idiot, and knows that we won't release him because doing so would add several million dollars to our cap. It's actually a lot cheaper for us to have him on the team than off it. Clary, on the other hand, would provide the Chargers with more than $2 million in savings if he's released so I could see him sticking around at a lower salary.
