I just read something on NFL.com that said he doesn't qualify; why wouldn't he?

Setting aside for a moment the issue of rules re. who "qualifies"…
consider that the East Coast media has made a superstar out of Eli Manning.
Manning's lifetime passer rating is 81.9.

In the horrible, tragic, "Man, somebody's gotta fix that guy!" disaster that was
Rivers' 2012 season, (from which, presumably he is "coming back") Philip's was 88.6
not sure there's gonna be a lot of sympathy for PR's '12 woes.

Because you have to be injured the previous year I believe.

As much as playing QB for Norv was hazerdous for his health I don't think PR actually got hurt despite being served up like a Christmas ham.

Since they create awards for everything nowadays, how about "Resurrected Player Of The Year" or RPOY for coming back and having a great year?

Pointy, I totally get your point-y…really, I do.

But in all honesty, if the Chargers don't go to the playoffs, "great year" will just not be in my vocabulary
for the 2013 season. Yes, I 100% acknowledge Philip's individual stat improvement, but any year Charger
play leaves us unable to compete at all in the postseason just ain't "great"…for me…in any aspect.

"Resurrected Player Of The Year" does have possibilities…but also disturbing zombie overtones.

How 'bout "Pope's Choice" award, for (with a big Tiffany assist) almost single-handedly
bringing the number of Catholics in the U.S. up to a tie with them pesky Protestants.
As hard as PR works on the field, we know he's working even harder off it.

As well as posing in Nick Hardwick's "One Wipe Charlies" commercial. His acting was superb...

Was Brees injured the year before he won it? I didn't think it HAD to be injury, I thought it was just you come back from some circumstances to have a great year; Brees case being a ****** season to having an awesome one. Same as Vick, he wasn't injured the year before his insane 2010, he just had the prison and then was a backup.

I'll give Rush $1,000 to explain this headline to Hardwick in a dark alley…
Chickified NFLers Sell One Wipe Charlies

(for those of you not familiar with the Dunning-Kruger poster boy, he's the genius who predicted a "Romney Landslide"
in an endless rant that demonstrated his complete unfamiliarity with how the electoral college works)

I have no interest whatsoever in whatever Mr. Limbaugh spews in sociopolitical terms, but as a football fan, he is a Donko supporter

Limbaugh isn't there for his dumb followers as much as he's there for his dumb detractors to feel smart.

Not sure from which orifice that popped out.

Everybody's favorite racist druggy is a (sadly) well-known Steelers supporter…
(including when Pittsburgh faced Denver in the playoffs, w/ Tebow)

Blitzy, is there some kind of setting you can use--as the others have spell-check--
that will apply a layer of basic fact-check, before ya hit Screen Shot 2013-12-14 at 7.35.36 PM.png
    ? ;)

If you are expecting me to fact check something about a person whose quintessential ethos is talking outta his arse, then you have way too much time on your hands!

One of his Ex wives or GF's (a blondie I recall) was a Broncos fan and he facilitated some favors as he is friends with Pat Bowlen.
