Was at the game today and after watching him go after the refs and the broncos sidelines, he looks a lot like Frank Brickowski in the 96 Finals.
    Pathetic and embarrassing. **** him.

When did he go after the Denver sideline? I did not see that on TV...but then again my eyes were closed during a lot of the game.

I was at the game. In the first quarter he was talking **** to them after they shut him down. Looked like a punk.

The homers here might be a little bit more aware than the homers there.

That takes a lot of balls considering how he has been playing. I wish he would just focus on making plays! I really respect the players that can just stay classy under diversity and still get it done!

Best piece of advice my father gave me was "Always take the high road, it won't do you wrong" (not that I've followed that, but I wish I had).

Ironically not far off from the truth on why I moved here.
But in terms of 'live and let live' high road, Montana (where I live for 13 lucky years) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Colorado (again some irony given the politics of the two states ;))

The feds needed some extra work, and they'll get it here now.
But I did hear one season ticket holder say "Who's that guy Decker?" Person next to her replied "Stokely's backup.". I'm thinking there was some green involved in that exchange ;)

Bingo, that explains a lot of human behavior.
But it doesn't explain why Rivers is

Maybe someone is holding one of Rivers's family members hostage, and he is "throwing" the game...

His cognitive abilities might be suffering from getting hit/hurried/sacked on 50% of our offensive snaps...

No doubt. But his disposition, evident from his complaining to refs/talking shite to opponents/yelling at their sideline, makes him more susceptible to pressure-based mistakes.

I don't think so. I think if anything, he's doing it to avoid the greater sin of having a complete meltdown on his line.

^^^^^What if the thread title was changed to something like,"Should Rivers Be Benched?" or some nonsense like that, then would that wake people up?

Is there a point in the season when management has to say that the bleeding must stop, and they have to go to drastic measures like benching the QB and putting in the #2 guy? Or will they be more concerned about him getting his reps and trying to set passing records for the season to pad his stats?

Are you suggesting that Clipboard Jesus would be a superior starting QB to Rivers? Are you suggesting that benching Rivers would improve the talent level of our offensive line? I'm confused, as neither of those two things seem to be likely, and there's no other reason to bench Rivers, unless you want to protect him from injury at the hands of opposing pass rushers.

The answer is in your own remarks. If the O-line can't protect Rivers, than we might be better off with a QB who at least has the ability to escape pressure. Whitehurst may not be as good a passer as Rivers under normal circumstances, but our situation is far from normal... Dire would be a better word.

Is Whitehurst much of a scrambler? I wasn't aware that he was much of a mobile QB.
