We have already quite a few of us going up to Denver. Fun town, nicer crowd, except when we spoil their home opener. Thunder and lightning tailgate in lot M before the game. Fourth year in a row for me. Donk fans hate Phillip Rivers. Let's support him and our team by attending. Who's going?

P.S. Southwest is running some pretty good deals nonstop fron S.D and L.A. to Denver.

Your crazy! go to Pittsberg in a heartbeat. Denver is not that cool. I went 2 years ago. Plus Steelers is going to be a better game.

I'd love to see Heinz Field. I've heard it's awesome and it looks great on TV.

Though Pittsburgh is a ****, **** city!!!! By far, the two most ugliest cities I've ever visited are Pittsburgh and Detroit.
Though since I've already visited Invesco Field, I'd go to Heinz Field.

Denver's not that cool? Dude, you just didn't know where to hang out. Downtown is a total party during the weekends. There must be 30 clubs in close proximity. On sat. we head up to blackhawk to gamble. Very loose slots and a fun time. The weather will also be sweet! Pittsburgh in November is a cold rain. It's on the east coast, and their fans are jackasses!

Road trips can't be all about the Chargers especially if you have your wifee or girlfriend along. You have to keep them happy and entertained. See the sights, party, have a great time in your Charger gear until gameday. Donk fans hate to see that. Then it's all about the Bolts! If you see the players before gameday that would be a added bonus. Roadies give me a break from my business and the kids.

oh ya, for sure... We're all about partying. My vieja and I. We went to some cool club and got jacked on Jaegar bombs with Boltattack and B4Life. Partying is my middle name.

And this year for the gators I got myself a cool 4 person beer bong haha!

Now when I went to Boston for the AFC Championship game. Dude Boston is a bad *** fun city!

Right on! Jaeger bombs and Becks did me in at Octoberfest Huntington Beach in 1995. Can't even stand the smell of them anymore. Had to stumble to the Holiday Inn next door to get a room.

Stay downtown. Hotel Curtis, Marriott, Courtyard Marriott are all close to the nightlife and the Stadium. Wait until July to get tix on Stubhub or Ebay. Thats when they get mailed out by the team.

When I went I stayed at a shithole hotel that was walking distance to the stadium. It wasn't so bright of an idea I was tooooo drunk to walk back. Go figure. :flag:

You must have stayed at the tower of pisa aka the red lion. It's in the getto neighborhood around the stadium.

Great stadium and surprisingly well behaved fans!!!

Kinghooker - Do you like the Doubletree, downtown. I can get a non smoking king for $89 night. Sounds good if it's in a decent area.

Hay, how close to the stadium are the downtown hotels... because I want to be fairly close to the stadium? That's more important to me than being close to the night life.

I am staying at the Doubletree on Quebec street, which is about less than 5 miles from downtown. The stadium is apprx 8 miles from the hotel. I believe they have a free shuttle service to the airport that runs every 30 mins. Keep in mind the airport is apprx 20 miles to downtown.I will have to call and confirm this. I will be staying there with 7 others. There are alot of bolt fans going to this game. Word is, we are suppose to party it up at the ESPN Zone downtown denver saturday afternoon or nite, which is the plan but gotta also confirm this as well. There are many places downtown as you would imagine, just gotta play it by ear. Also, I know charger fans staying at...the courtyard downtown, the Marriott downtown, La Quinta, The Curtis. Doubletree was a very good deal for me, plus we get in friday nite and they have a sportsbar down stairs. PM me your info so we can keep in touch out there. I already have contacts to keep everyone up to date.

I got a friend that works for the chain. But 89.00 bucks isnt bad for that hotel. It beats anything downtown. But you have to weigh your options. your gunna pay more but figure in taxi or rental cars. So it pretty much offsets. Did you go to SF couple of years ago?
