*RUMOR* How will Merriman's pending suspension change our draft plans?

Ahhh... one of the few drawbacks to the internet. Rumors galore. You can't believe everything you hear. If somehow this proves to be true, the Chargers as an organization will need to look at tightening up. This wouldn't be the first leak. I won't believe anything until it's from a reputable source.

Does anybody know if he's been attending the offseason conditioning stuff? That might be a good indication. I doubt he would be around if he knew that he was going to spend 2008 sitting on the couch watching his **** grow smaller.

I am going to look at Merriman very skeptically until I actually see him suited up for game one during the regular season.
