getting a tattoo hurts, you just have to put the pain out of your mind.

Its almost like someone taking a sewing machine, and stitching you up.

It's one of the things I'm soooo glad I did... It hurt like hell, and I'd do it again, in a heartbeat. Just like childbirth.

It's kind of like your own signature and the longer I've worn this tat, the more I appreciate it. I recommend that someone think about it for a long time and decide EXACTLY what they want before going to their artist. Another thing, look into these tattoo parlors well. I'm lucky in that my kids directed me very well in finding an artist.

I'm going to get another one. A small one, prolly on my hip. I've got three designs in mind. I don't want to be showing tats at work so my tats have to be somewhat hidden.

I spoke with someone yesterday who told me she's been thinking of getting a tat for a long time. What she described for me would be PERFECT for her and I hope she does it.

Also depends where you get it. I have just one on my back, on my right shoulder. It stung a bit and it felt like sunburn for a few days. No big deal.

I'm going to give my tat location away. Mine is on my upper chest and it was quite a painful experience. Didn't want to go lower as I can imagine what the tat would look like as I aged. :lol: It would be the most out of proportion butterfly one could imagine.

Also anytime you are tattooing over bone, like on the feet or ankle is very painful.

Aw c'mon..You are never too old. Just pick a place that might not be as affected by the aging process. Hey I got my first tattoo when I was 50! :icon_eek:
