Ah, the La Brea Tar Pits in LA, right? They are wondrous but very stinky. Yes, I have felt that way before. Recently, actually.
I was at Petco Park, watching the Blue Jays at Padres game when the 5.7 earthquake hit. It was a slow rumble back and forth, then it really shook my seat side to side for a few seconds, like you were in one of those virtual rides. Some people were screaming, some were clapping. Most were looking up and around and at each other to see what was up. I've lived through a number of these so it didnt rattle me too much. Besides that, the Padres lost, so that was kinda depressing.

The off-season is too..........damned...........loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong
Back in January I received a promotion at work, then I became an Asst Coach for my sons Little League team, then I became Chief Umpire for the League which my son played. I have been so busy since January. AND...... I just turned down a 45 day all expenses paid trip to Hawaii in January. I would have made $285.00 a day in per diem which includes me getting a rental car. PLUS I would have gotten 2 hours of overtime MON-FRI and 10 Hours on Saturday. How you doing?
