Well its looking very good!!!!!!!!!!!! I can say that I am a Cancer survivor. Last year I was diagnosed with Cancer of the Lip Squamous Cell. I under went Radiation starting in January and I had to do 17 treatments. I had to go back and see my doctor every month for a check up. I had to go back and see my Radiation treatment doctor every 3 months. I still have a small lump on my lip as a result of the radiation, but it seems like it is only scar tissue. Today my Doctor informed me that we can back off the once a month visit and now we drop down to once every 3 months. I haven’t seen my Radiation Doctor since September. I think I won.
Yes, you've won. Not sure how I missed this post the first time through. I now can tell you the story of my great uncle. He started "chewing" at 14 and was dead at the age of 20 from lip and mouth cancer. I visited his grave about 10 years ago after going to a family funeral in NY. 1892-1912. He was my grandfather's older brother and my father is his namesake. Back then, there were virtually no good treatments for cancer. With respect to medical advances, we are lucky to live in these times.
All mine is definitely sun damage. From 1985-1999 I was probably in the sun at least 6 days a week. I worked out at the flight line wrenching on airplanes getting them ready to fly. That was minimum 5 days and mostly 6 days week. And it was not uncommon to work 7 days a week 12 hours a day. Then when I wasn’t working I was either playing tournament softball, fishing, or out at the desert and I was usually at Glamis., sometimes at Buttercup or Gordons Wells riding 3-wheelers. I also owned a Kawasaki KZ-1000, and I loved going for a ride up to Julian. You always heard about using sun protection BUT you never heard about putting it on your lips! Today its all about being on a baseball field with the kids, working as a coach or as an Umpire so during the weekend it’s an all day affair.

UPDATE.......... I found out last night after I was tossed out of the Raider game. The guy who sits in front of me, he showed me a huge scab on his right leg when we played KC. I only bring in a little cash to the game so I could not do anything about that. Last night I bought that guy a beer to say I was sorry for his misfortune based on my acts. He said He was going to buy me a beer instead, when I had to leave I took THREE Raider fans with me. The husband the wife and there was another guy I did not know about! So there was a total of three Raider fans leaving early! No wonder I got a round of appluase when I showed up. The beer was cold, we had a great laugh, and everything is good, and I just hope that I get to use my Playoff tickets this year

Hay While I was away, I apparently won some kind of BT lottery... :lol: I picked some numbers and 3 came in for a whopping 50 bolt bucks or whatever they call 'em.
