Thanks for the rep, Toby.... I went three days without rep. I hate it when that happens... I get so "hoey" :icon_mrgreen: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: Ya know when I was naming this thread... was going to use... "Will HO for REP" but figured that since this is a "family" forum (kind of) I'd better keep it cleaner....
I know what you mean, it gets addictive!! Which was what I was TRYING to say when I repped you just now, but my fingers slipped, hit the wrong keys, and turned it into nonsense. Sorry.:icon_sad::icon_redface:
NFL Combine (yawn)... Gee, you think FS Chris Clemmons 6'0"/208 lbs might have improved *his* stock by out-running all of the CBs in the 40? How about FS David Bruton 6'2"/219 lbs matching the fastest time of the CBs? "I wonder if they can play Safety?" ~~~ Sorry folks, I'm kind of bummed out this week. Trevor Hoffman and his family took out a full page ad in last Sunday's paper thanking Diego for their support over the years. I've been kind of sad ever since reading it. (Not to mention just a bit @#$@#!!!!)..:icon_evil:
Oh my LA, I'm awfully sick today too. I'm thinking it's the FLU..even though I did get both the FLU and Pneumonia vaccines this year (caught pneumonia last year) Here's to both of us feeling better soon.
My 12 year old son (who was earlier upset that I couldn't drive him to his friend's house) has just informed me that I better get back into bed. I guess his friend's mom mentioned to him that sometimes with pneumonia, you end up in the hospital. He doesn't want me in the hospital. I haven't figured out yet if that is 1) because he loves me or 2) because then I really couldn't take him anywhere! :icon_rofl: Kids!!!! :icon_rofl:
Dave and Syd: It's that feeling you get when you read about Hoffman. I tell you, my heart aches a bit. :icon_sad:
Oh, I didn't know there was a pneumonia vaccine!! The doctor didn't even mention it to me today. :icon_evil: Next year I will get it! I started with this on Thursday and went in on Saturday; at that point they said it was a virus and gave me something for the cough (which didn't work). I coughed all night last night ... :icon_eek: NO SLEEP. So I went in first thing this morning. I could barely push that little thingie up on the breathing test. They took chest x-rays and said it was pneumonia; finally I got real drugs! OK, my 12 year old is really hounding me to get back in bed now. I just woke up from a 5 hour nap! :icon_eek: Oh well, back to bed I go. I don't want to worry the cute boy. Thanks for the well wishes!
What a team we three would make. :icon_eek:  I really think I have Influenza. I get the FLU shot every year and this is probably only the second time I've gotten Influenza after getting the vaccine. I've been pretty lucky.. considering I'm exposed to alot of this crap all winter. The Flu is on the rise in Utah... nearing peak season. I'm getting worse. Time for more Tylenol, some warm tea, and then off to bed for me... :icon_sleep:
Well, I thought I'd best 'splain that, you know I'm anal-retentive about spelling and grammar. LOL! Now, here are some Nurse's Orders for you, Toby, and eastcoastboltgal: Plenty of FLUIDS Tylenol PRN for aches and pains (no more than 4000 mg/24 hrs. though) Plenty of REST And, of course: GET WELL SOON!
I have been very bad with the fluids! I went the entire day yesterday with probably drinking only 4 ozs. of water .. no food, no other fluid! :icon_eek:
'Preciate it, Darlin; doin alotta Vitamin's A, C & D, dextro, green tea, chingos of sleep; hopefully it'll clear up by tomorrow :icon_shrug:
