I'll be lying on top of the electric blanket on my king sized bed with my laptop on my lap, the big screen HD in front, the bride beside me, and lots of food and drink. It's chilly in Orange County.
Being Canadian that last part made me laugh. I'm stuck at home and not able to go back 2 hours north to university because we got so much snow. There's like 4 feet in some places.
I said there would be a surprise last week...it came at the expense of the Chargers, and I said there will be a surprise this weekend...it didn't come in Indianapolis...but I would love to see Favre battling Manning in the SB. I think NO and Brees will be tough to beat...the surprise will be if the Vikes win...opinions will vary.
Using that logic, and comparing the two QBs, should Romo be the reason Cowboys fans should feel good about next season? They both have some pretty similar career characteristics...GREAT seasons...playoff let downs. I'm just sayin'.....back to the program.:icon_toast:
I think Im going to go to bed because its not far off midnight here and Im out of drink. Enjoy the Vikes-Saints game to all of you who are watching it and I will check the score in the morning. For now Im pissed (drunk) and need sleep
The only thing I would say is wrong about that assessment is that Rivers is more consistent overall and managed more than one surprising Playoff win before. Romo had the Eagles and I'll give it to him but Rivers is just better than Romo. Cowboy fans and Charger fans are just about in the same exact boat. Oh! and GO SAINTS!
I don't want to watch the media jerk off over a Manning/Favre matchup in the superbowl for two solid weeks. GO SAINTS!
been there Bolthead Brother!! :icon_party::icon_party: Don't make me get the trout slap out :icon_twisted:
I thought they play with John Bonham's son, Jason. I saw them live as well a few years ago. They played the entire set from Tommy and it was amazing.
Take it from one who lives in the heart of Cowboy country, the true difference between the two of them is that Chargers fans believe in Rivers and Cowboy fans do nothing but doubt Romo. The majority of the Boys fans don't even like him, except for when they win......other than that they do nothing but trash Romo and trash the team. One of my favorite example is the whole Jess Simpson thing. Cowboy fans far and ride blammed her for all the loses and trashed Romo saying all he could do was think about her instead of football. Ah Cowboy fans....they provide a lot of entertainment for the rest of us. And yes, GO SAINTS!!!
That sounds about right actually, could have got them mixed up with someone else. I know one of the lasting legends has Jason Bonham on drums.
Cowboys are a bandwagon team, even in Texas. No surprises there. But they are basically in the same boat, they just don't trust their quarterback. I think he should drive a truck to every game and wear a cowboy hat at press conferences. They'd like him a little bit more then I would think.
