    Quarterbacks

    A+

Where are the Brees doubters today? Can't get much better than he was yesterday.

    Running backs

    B

LT is a bystander on the Brees Express. Neal gets his first touchdown since high school.

    Receivers

    A

But Gates goes down. Not good.

    Offensive line

    A

When a football team gains 478 yards and scores 48 points, the offensive line has done its job.

    Defensive line

    A -

The Bills run for 65 yards – 30 of that on a quarterback scramble. Jamal Williams is a load.

    Linebackers

    A

Merriman has two sacks, Edwards, Phillips and Cooper one apiece.

    Secondary

    A -

The pressure helps, but these guys are getting better.

    Special teams

    F

Kickoff coverage is going to jump up and bite this team if the Chargers don't get it fixed. Scifres is a monster.

    Coaching

    A -

Bills coaches are buffaloed, but special-teams blunders add the minus to the grade.

    Next opportunity(at Washington)

    B

But, if Gates can't play ...

We really need to address our kick coverage problem. What is up with Nate Kaeding kicking to the 20? Is he ok? Is his back still bothering him?

I heard that his hamstring is still bothering him. But it's not just the kicking, we also need to close all the lanes and make the tackles. It's alwasy an adventure at kickoff. Im afraid that we will get burned for a TD soon.
