Norv needs to be fired immediately. Put in an interim coach and start looking for his replacement. At this point, I'd take a high school coach over Norv.

Kaplan this morning posted that rumors were that Chower and a steelers exec were coming in. Dont put much weight into it until the redundancy letters go around.
I expect Dungy rumors to follow. Then Gruden rumors, then finally Nick Saban rumors. Then they'll hire Clarence Shelmon.

This will change nothing. I told myself that it was good for them as a team to miss the playoffs last year, that it would force them to deal with the consequences, but if anything, they've all just gotten worse. Judging by the crowds I've seen on tv, most of the fans have bailed as well. Stadium looked half full, and there was a whole lot of orange there. Never a good sign, but fuq it, I figure Deano is willing to tank the entire franchise if it will help him get out of SD at this point.
I think we are near a complete rebuild. The OL has to be almost redone. The DL I think is going to be OK with the way our young linemen are developing. Martin I think will be a star. FB we need a real hole opening head knocking FB. I think with Hester they are trying to get a 'Johnson' type like Norv had in Dallas. But Hester is not that player. We need new CBs. Jammer is done, and I am not sure Cason is an ever will be. We totally need new LBs. That corps is simply the weakest link in the D. I believe that Hardwick is a FA this off season, Jackson is as well. We are to an almost total rebuild spot and AJ refuses to get any name FAs to help fill gaps.
