The question is, should we do away with the Second Amendment. The short answer, IMHO, is NO. The long answer---again IMHO---is HELL No!!:no: If the anti-gun crowd uses nuts like this Cho character to justify taking away our right to bear arms, only the nuts will have guns. Just look at what happens when you have a passel of unarmed people all glumped together........I keep thinking, if only someone on that campus had been packing, they might've been able to take the ******* out before he killed 32 people.:icon_sad:

Banning firearms in the UK has not eliminated crimes involving guns. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3112818.stm It is low, but if you increase the population of the UK to be anything close to that of the US the number of crimes involving guns will increase as well. There is no way to completely eliminate firearms from any society, just as we cant 'uninvent' the nuclear bomb. Yes the shooting in VA was tragic. But it is also not like crime like this happen every day. That is not to minimize what has occurred, but this nation is not the UK. If we take guns away from everyone that will ensure, just as in the UK that only the criminals have guns.

I'm not a big Rosie fan, but she stepped upta the plate with her pocketbook to the tune of a 300 Large donation to The Center For The Intrepid, a state of the art rehab center co-located with Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) here in San Antone. This center was fully funded by donations, small and large...many other Holly-weird types stepped upta the plate, as well...Denzel Washington and Michelle Pfeiffer, to name a few. So, tho I don't care for her or her politics, I'm grateful for her generous donation. So I've stopped baggin on'er.
I still cannot forget the night she sang the National Anthem at the Padre game, then grabbed her crotch and spit.
IMHO, whoever scheduled that cretin should be made to watch alla her reruns 24 hours a day for 10 years :icon_evil:
