Signatures are now restricted to 300 pixels in height. Please check your signature to make sure it is no taller than 300 pixels if you'd like them to be completely displayed.

Anything more than 300 pixels in height will be cut off and not displayed on this forum.

I believe his is less than 300 pixels, so it's not affected. :icon_huh:

If it's 1500 pixels tall, no you can't. Sorry, we're not going to be flexible on this one. Signatures were out of control. 300 pixels is double the recommended height. We could have gone with the 150 pixel default, but we doubled it.

I knew it was a joke. See you back here when Concudan returns. MTL you're in charge while I'm gone.

      Now that's a bit of a joke.

I have a question. Is there a limit to how many sig's a poster can have, because I'd like to make a new one in the size restrictions, but, you know. I've been known to build a bigger sig out of 2 smaller ones and stuff. Also, is there a width restriction? Also, what about animated stuff. Is there a file size limit?

O, and thanks for the new adopted banner;)

Currently the only restriction is the 300 pixel height restriction. I will probaly be adding a width restriction to avoid the possibility of horizontal scrolling problems. Right now this is none. If a width restriction is implemented in the future, I'm guessing it would be in the 600 to 700 pixel range, but don't hold us to that. That figure is just off the top of my head and we would have to evaluate the forum at different resolutions before we made a final decision.

Since right now the images in the sigs are hosted elsewhere and the IMG tag is used to display them here, there is no size restriction.

The only other restriction being considered is the total number of graphics in a signature. That is an option in the next version of the software and we'll evaluate it at that time.

Thank you for instituting the restriction. Some of them were getting out of control IMO.

So does the height restriction now include the "Adopt a Bolt" as part of the 300 pixels allowed? In other words, I see the "Adopt a Bolt" sig is 119 pixels high. Do I than have just 181 pixels of height to use for my personal sig?

I thinking this must be the case as I designed my sig at 275 high and it's now getting cut off.... yes?

Yes, the 300 pixels does include the adopt-a-bolt signature. Only the first 300 total pixels will be displayed.
