Because MM's agent and AJ have both said that the Chargers told them they will not be working on any deals and the tender was all that was being offered at the time

How do you know that A.J.'s "ego" won't work to the Chargers benefit in future negotiations with future players? He has established how **** works with the Chargers.

well we know if you play along with the chargers with good recourse and not try shifty sheet you get paid big a bit later.

Mcniels and jacksons agents screwed them royally. They haven't a clue what they are doing. THey''re good at setting up pool partys and renting hookers but thats about it.

I bet he agrees with B4L that Dean fired Marty because AJ told him to.

Many of us have met him off the boards.

He's actually a pretty cool guy in person. :bolt:

Seeing how I can't seem to catch a break and get back to Dego, I'll just rely on the many affirmatives that it is a real person.

We're among the minority with that view, LBC.

If VJ & McNeill figured prominently into the Chargers plans, they'd be signed. A little more proof? LT Donald Penn just signed a new contract.

They don't. Get used to it.

And Trotter is no better than Acee. Just because he writes for ESPN now doesn't make him a better journalist than when he was with the UT.

I mean goddamn - Rush & Beck both have their own shows. :icon_rofl:

Wrong. Right off the top of my head Dumervil comes to mind.

    All,

It has been brought to my attention that my opinions have upset some and for that I would like to apologize. I am not changing my opinion, but I am going to take a break for a couple days from this board, and hopefully either I learn to express myself better in that time, or things have resolved themselves to a point where the topics don't get brought up anymore.

We all want the best for our team, we just go about it in different ways and all have different opinions on what should or shouldn't be done to accomplish that.

Talk to you all in a few days

    -Jake

I thought you expressed your opinions fine, I just don't agree with them.

    DB67,

There's no need to apologize for having an opinion.
If that were the case........I'd have to apologize every minute of every day!

Don't let these people keep you away. But, do what you gotta do.

You're right,we all want nothing less than a Chargers SB win and have different opinions of how it should be done. Ultimately, the decisions are made by AJ Smith & Dean Spanos.

I'm just glad I don't have to work for some of the posters in here........:icon_rofl:

Thanks, but I received a message from someone saying the Mods were getting a lot of complaints, so I guess others don't feel the same way as you do

DB67: If you're gonna post **** and rant and rave on your soapbox, at least don't be a b!tch and get all Johnny Drama on the set and post a bit "Whaaaaaaaa, I'm leaving, whaaaaaa" post when pretty much everyone disagrees with you. That's like the gayest **** ever.

BTW, AJ and his "ego" and pretty much responsible for that last DECADE of "winning" we just experienced.

Bro, I posted that because I was told by a mod that they had received a bunch of complains about me, not because people disagree.

And as I have said many many times, I think AJ is one of the best GM's in the NFL, but it doesn't mean he does everything correct or that everyone agrees with every move he makes or he is beyond being questioned.

He doesn't do everything right, but that also doesn't mean he's the only person holding us back from a Super Bowl title as the original article says.

I don't give a **** what the mods said to you, I just think the "I'm leaving" post is played out and a desperate cry for attention.

If you need a break, take one. My point was you don't need to make a scene.

 Really? I've never thought you've been out of line with anything, no personal attacks from what I've seen, just stating your opinion. What's wrong with that? I honestly like arguing with you, it's fun.

    Everyone needs a break.
