According to most posters in here, anything that went wrong between 2002 - 2006 was all Marty's fault.

Then a coaching change is made, from 2007 - 2008 (so far) anything that went wrong is all the players fault. All of a sudden, it's "we don't have the talent that we had over the last 6 years."

2008, it was all Cotell's fault that the defense was soft.

2009, Rivera is suppose to be the leader to make us the best.

So if our Defense and Offensive Line continues to get owned (especially by horrible teams), who will be at fault now?

Coaches and Management. Our drafts have been less than stellar, and we've continued to ignore the Gorilla in the room being our offensive and defensive lines. That said, I will always believe that we'll win the Superbowl, and starting 1-0 doesn't change that at all. But, unless our lines go through a massive transformation throughout the season, which is possible, I don't see us beating a team that's deeper and more talented up front come playoff time.

Whose fault is it that what? That we won? I guess that's Philip's and Norv's fault.

If you're wondering whose fault it was that we didn't prance around the Coliseum pushing the Raiders down by their foreheads with our pinkies... well, that's the Raiders fault. They didn't know they were supposed to just lie down. They'll learn eventually.

I have a love/hate thing going with Norv. He shows flashes of coaching excellence on offense, has a kick *** December record and I believe he is good for Rivers. On the other hand, the team comes out seemingly unprepared for many games, undisciplined and consistently not physical.

I almost threw my remote thru the TV when it appeared he went soft on Philips after his bonehead penalty.

Everyone needs to relax...we're fine, we will beat the ravens.

Injuries will heal over time and this will make us a much better team.

    This is our year!:abq1::abq2::tup::icon_toast:

    Only one game.
But most do forget what our record was last year. We really were not a playoff team last year. Even though we were.
Let's talk blame after we miss the playoffs or lose in the playoffs.

And yet, we still won more games in the playoffs last year than we did in the 14-2 season.

I tend to follow AJ's line of thinking. Everything is evaluated at the end of the year.

I'm glad to that you all missed me so much. Thanks for the love!!!

I still have that headline in my collection of papers that reads "They've got Norv!" My only question is that since at your requests, I took my Norv Sucks glasses off... where are your Norv pom poms?

On a better note... if our OL and Defense continues to get owned, who's fault is it? Speak.

At this point, I'd have to say the front office/personel dept/whoever picked the players who made the team

    Nowhere to be found.

The thing you never really seemed to grasp is most here aren't exactly Norv's biggest fan.

Most of us simply didn't share your opinion that everything is his fault and that complaints about him needed to be discussed in every thread.

It just happens, by nature, that arguments in his favor have to be brought up in order to counter what was incessant complaints about the guy.

Good point. 14-2, best team in the league in 2006 and Marty STILL couldn't win 1 playoff game! As much as I don't care for Norval, at least he won a few playoff games. Something Marty just couldn't pull off.....

 True, but we still got beat. Marty could still get it done in the regular, but hardly ever the playoffs. Ask old school Cleveland and Chiefs fans.......

I blame Leo. Not particular reason, just random thought process. :bolt:
