SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP)—Syracuse’s top receiver Mike Williams was suspended for academic reasons and is no longer enrolled at the school. Sue Edson, assistant athletics director for communications, said Tuesday that Williams was not enrolled. Coach Greg Robinson would not elaborate, citing privacy laws. Williams practiced with the team in the spring and completed the spring semester. He was entering his junior year. Williams, a second-team All-Big East Conference selection, had 10 touchdowns last season for the Orange (2-10). ------------- Well that makes them a lock for bottom 5 offensive team in the NCAA this year.
