Time Has Come, Pay Up Or???!!!... I have been saying this for several weeks, and to date, only have 30 persons that have actually paid by PayPal or cash for the catered event on November 15th, Eggles game. The deadline to pay via PayPal or check or money order is November 12th, next Thursday. The alternate plan is that if we don't get a minimum of 50 persons for the catered event, we will use the monies collected and buy our own meats, cheeses, salsas and veggies. We will have our own grillmaster (Rigo) cook it up, with some supporting help and it will be just as good (if not better) than the catering setup. Another option offered by my good friend Patty (the gal selling the aprons for the breast cancer fundraiser) is that she could grill up some Phillie cheesesteaks for our tailgate, using the monies collected from those of us who have paid. As we did with the home opener, wristbands will be issued to persons that have paid and will be the only ones being taken care of for our party. I have heard that 20 or so supposed Eggles fans were coming to our shindig, but as of this posting I have not heard one peep (no pun intended) from any of them. On the other hand, our good friends the Euro Bolts (6 persons total) have already contributed via PayPal. Kudos to the Euros! (I'll explain it in detail later...) So, what I need to know from those that haven't come forward and intend to pay is when can you contact me to make arrangements? For those that have paid, do we: 1. Go with the original plan and hope for 50 persons, bring the caterer. 2. Buy everything ourselves, and cook by committee. 3. Go with Chef Patty's suggestion, do a catered cheesesteak party. I need to get some input on this ASAP, or by Sunday at the very latest. I WILL NOT be playing bank collecting money on the day of the event. It is not fair to me or any of the other members/guests that have spent a good deal of time on this project. If it has to fail due to people not paying then I'm happy to go along with the majority decision of the alternatives. C'mon guys - commit to the tacos and get your money in. I would pay up if I knew I was going. I would like to go to this game because I think it will be a good one. Plus, the Euros are coming en masse. Plus, this is a Taco Cart game. Plus, I got sick and missed the last gater. I could buy my own single ticket and go alone. But I would rather go with someone. If anyone knows of anyone who has an extra ticket, please let me know! :icon_toast:

Time Has Come, Pay Up Or???!!!... Since I can not get on with the bunker and I paid for the Taco Cart ahead of time, if we do not get enough funds by this Sunday then we can go with the back up option is the Cheesesteak thing. Just my thoughts there. :icon_toast:

Before and after the game this past Sunday, HBM, Desert, Rigo, Joesniper, EMB, myself, and couple of others thought it could still be done as a taco bar, but Rigo would be doing all of the cooking. (He heartily volunteered, and he wasn't even drunk...) All I would have to do is get the funds to him so he can buy the meats and groceries required to do it just like the caterer. We will also have a couple of others to assist in the cooking of course, and various people will be tasked with making some of the salsas, veggies, guacamole, grills, etc. We currently stand at 30 paid, with Static bringing in 5 more in the next couple of days so let's call it even at 35. I need 15 more peeps to get the catering company to cover the function. Pointy :icon_twisted: P.S. Turtle; I don't know what is going on with the site, to me everything is looking normal and I have heard of no complaints, you seem to be the only one that can't access the site. Did you say anything to Greg on Sunday about having problems?
