This position has to be dealt with in free agency. We can't bank on Mouton and Gachkar with Butler. Though, I'm sure Butler is ready to step up and be a leader, he still is very young.

Hey if Manti honestly falls to the 2nd, wouldn't be surprised to see us trade up if we don't get someone in free agency.

The San Diego Union-Tribune does not consider Jonas Mouton a candidate to replace Takeo Spikes at "Mike" linebacker.
Mouton's progress has been slow since the Chargers took him in the second round of the 2011 draft. The Union-Tribune says he's "still developing" and expects new GM Tom Telesco to find his 2013 Mike in the draft or free agency.
