I'm a big Charger fan, that lived in SD for 12 years, in Denver for 2.5 years, and now in Austin, TX. It's hard to get coverage out here, so I wanted to say thanks to everyone for their dialogue, information, and sometimes bafoonery.

We don't get any coverage out here, except for Cowboys, Texans, and Titans... props to anyone who can guess why we get so much darn Titans coverage.

The Texans formerly being the Oilers is a good guess, but it's not THE reason why the Tennessee Titans get so much play in Austin. Let's see if there are anymore guesses...

I lived in Houston for a couple of years and even there the fan base was 50% Titan fans and 50% Texan fans.

I like Mario, but the better choice would have been Vince Young.

Nope - they needed to take the hometown guy and missed the opportunity to put some major butts in the seats. That isn't the first draft mistake by the Texans but in my opinion it is the worst.

p.s. I like heck out of Mario too!

You know... in 2000 when the Ravens won the Super Bowl, they faced the Titans in the playoffs.
Some people I worked with at the time were giving me a hard time because of that whole Cleveland Brown/Baltimore Ravens thing.

Some guy said "I'm going to cheer for that Titans because of that situation."
I laughed and said "THE TENNESSEE TITANS USED TO BE THE HOUSTON OILERS!!!" His jaw just locked and he couldn't speak for the rest of the day!!! :lol:

Bingo on the Vince Young read! There are more Titans fans in Austin, TX than any other pro team because of that guy! Don't get me wrong, I think he's good, it's just Univ of Texas fans are the most annoything thing EVERY F-ing SATURDAY!

Needless to say, the Austin media follows many of the former UT Longhorn scrubs, and everyone out here goes nuts over them.

The one I love the most is... Jammer is the best of all time. Folks, I'm a die hard Charger fan, but can't say I love Jammer. Everyone out here thinks he's UNBELIEVABLE!

Whatever... and on the bolt cash, I have no idea what the F it does, so I'm not sure how I even got it, but I've been registered for a few months, just didn't post much.

I really liked LaRon Landry in this year's draft and was seriously hoping he would wind up wearing lightening bolts. If he stays healthy he may turn into the only Redskin I keep track of over this next few years.
