Sounds like Norv walked out pointing the finger at AJ...as expected.

He's always been willing to allow the players to take the blame too, it's just who Norv is, a dilusional classless **** who is unable to take the players he has to the next level.

Look, Matty, I know we've had our differences, but today might be a good day to
bury the hatchet. :) One question, though: Is it true what they say?
I mean, if you truly prefer the company of men
(Not that there's anything wrong with that...I mean that's fine if that's who you are...)
just give a sign...if you'd like to come out now, just indicate so by hitting "Like"

In fairness, it's not like anyone could have foreseen losing McNeill and Dielman to career-ending injuries within a couple of weeks of each other. That's what set the line back more than anything. I know that O-line should have been more of a focus, but any team would be reeling if they lost to pro bowlers from the left side of their line to career-ending injuries.

And most teams wouldn't still have Clary as a starter, and would have addressed the line this offseason after losing those 2. Yes they signed Gaither, and he was known as the best available option, but they also should have planned for his history and reputation and provided depth incase it happened again (Which it did), and they didn't do that.

I'd give you five, Brundle, if the system would let me! (Damned heavy-handed restrictions, Norv!!)

Just glad that the announcement was made early. Move on and start looking for a new GM & coach.

Friend of mine summed up Clary's blockikng ability perfectly: he said Clary blocks like a giant baloon. Still cracks me up when I think of it, but he's right.

The glorious day has finally come.....it only took 6 years to come.

Surprised about the consultant bit though. I wonder what it all means.

Norv wasn't the worst coach in the NFL, and he wasn't responsible for the talent black holes on the roster, but his inability to adjust to his personnel or to properly make half-time adjustments/manage the clock is 100% on him.

How many games did we lose in the 4th this year? Hell 2 more minutes and we'd have blown the Raider game too.

Norv is a loser, and the longer he sticks around the more you start to see a team that finds ways to lose.

Not that I'm giving AJ a pass, but I find it absolute bullshit that we couldn't win the division over Matt Cassell in 2010, and Tim Tebow in 2011. The talent has eroded..but not to that point.

    Dear Dean,

Find us a great head coach and a great GM.
Get us a great OL. This one is like swiss cheese, it's got holes in it.

    Amen.

    Happy days!

Norv "I can't figure out what to do in time during a pressure situation" Turner is gone. Norv needs to go back to doing what he does very well. Just being an OC.

You better hope he takes Ron Wolf's advice then, because good judgment is one thing Dean has never displayed.
