Well thanks for remembering :icon_wink: I also said that Rivers would be the best QB of the three (Ben,Eli) and thought he was then.
I remember going round and round with you about drafting another weak armed QB. After I got to see what the kid was all about, I loved the pick. But that was definitely after the fact. You are the only person on any of the forums that called this, other than his fans from NC State (or earlier ie Teresa).
I saw Rivers in the Senior Bowl and Tangerine Bowl games but that was about it. :yes: I doubt anyone went out on the limbs that I did in this call so nice try.

Please. You, like many of us, were tired of seeing Brees fuq up the program. The favorite player of most fans is the backup QB. You included. Boltjolt called his **** before we drafted Rivers. A lot of us didn't get to see Rivers in practice and mini camps so we had no idea despite what he did at NC State. However since the Steelers game I will never doubt that guy again; in fact I expect him to get it done. Our defense is another story.
I never really lost faith that we could come back. Beginning of the year I would have felt more comfortable with us making a comeback but I must admit, our defense stepped up when it looked like there was no way we had a chance to stop the Bengals. Had we lost that game......Sorry Trumpie, but I would have to put it on Hart. He had that ball right in his hands and dropped it. Then 2-3 plays later they score. When we are putting the team on their heels, it's plays like that that usually comeback to kill us. Luckily, this was not one of those times!!!:icon_banana: :icon_toast: :icon_party:

I agree to a certain extent. Teresa is the first to discover Philip Rivers. We all should be in her debt for it. We are now seeing the excellence that is of Philip Rivers on that very field. As we seen with our awe struck eyes today. 42 points in the second half. Amazing.

Yup. I knew very little about Rivers until about 2 months before the draft. Marty's staff coached Rivers in the Senior Bowl so I knew the Bolt staff liked what they saw. After I saw Rivers in mini-camp throwing side by side with Flutie and Brees it was over and the prophecies were born. Most gave me the "what the fuc do you know and Rivers ain't done **** in the NFL and college ball ain't the NFL" ..... blah blah blah blah. Most fans were more interested in the Brees/Flutie wars and Rivers walked into a shitstorm with the fans. You got **** because of your address that many thought you were a WolfPacker (like that is an evil thing?) and actualy were a transplant. It did not matter because posters had their mind made up so you were sort of screwed but I just gave everyone the finger :icon_finger: and tried to protect the new posters who were Rivers fans from the forum idiots.
NOPE. Because of the asssholes who doubted and jeered - fuc em. They deserve every bit. It was easy enough to question and ridicule those who believed so this is what is called ..... payback.
In all fairness there were several other WolfPackers who were right there telling Chargers fans that Rivers was special. RiversRat and Riverhead were two posters who were on the forum along with Teresa. Hell I forgot a few other names. One poster was Rivers cousin I was communicating with .... **** I forgot his name.....oh well.
OldSchool and Booman55 are typical trolls who said they were secretly pining for a Rivers implosion just because they lost Brees and hated Rivers The fact what we had been telling them Rivers was the **** is now being shoved up their asses and all those who gave me or anyone else the finger.
