There is a little scale at the upper right of every post. This allows other posters to click on that scale and grade your post. You can get a grade of approve (green) or a grade of disapprove (red)

Everyone has a rep power which is indicated in their posts. If someone gives you a green rep you will gain a number of points equal to that persons rep power. Someone with a rep power of 10 will give you ten points when they (green) rep you. It takes 250 points to increase your rep power one level. Conversely, if a person gives you a bad rep (red or disapprove) you will lose points, 50% of that persons rep power. So if the repper has a rep power of 10, you will lose 5 points if s/he were to "red bomb" you.

The little green boxes you see in the posts are awarded based on rep points. You will get a green box for every 100-200 rep points. Once you've received 2000 rep points, you will have the maximum amount of green boxes (11). I'm not going to spend alot of time on this as most people have their green boxes filled up really quickly as we have some posters with some pretty high rep powers.

Rep Ho. This is a person who loves to get rep and will do anything to get it, compliment, blackmail, bribe, lie, beg, cheat, steal... :lol:

Most people at BT use their rep powers for "good" but we occasionaly digress and throw a few "red bombs" when we're mad... We always try to have a few red bombs available for the opposing team trolls. :icon_mrgreen:

Important points to remember: The person you rep will know that you have repped them, there is no anonymity in this process.

You can rep up to 6 people a day, but you must rep 15 additional people before you can re rep the same person.

Oh my... I just repped this post and you went from a rep power of 22 to 27... :flag:

If you want to see who is repping you...just click on "user CP" in the upper left corner of the page

In the middle of the new page you'll see a the section that shows who is repping you.. You'll see the post that was repped, the date and time, the name of the poster and any comment they might have left.

You can click on the poster's name to be brought to their user profile.. From there you can click on their posts if you want to rep them back without having to hunt the forum for their posts. :icon_toast:
