Man, saw Johnny Winter last night at a fairly new club in Richmond, Toad's Place. They also have one in New Haven, CT.

Anyway, Johnny is around 73, nearly blind, can hardly walk, sits down to play - and hasn't forgotten a single guitar lick!! He can still play the blues with the best ever, & smoked a coupla Hendrix tunes, too!! Had seats 1 & 2 on row 1 - woohooo!!!

Gotta practice more ..... :lol:

I have to say something. I have never liked the guy for Pres. I couldn't see the hype from the beginning. Just kind of shook my head about it. Watching him has made me think that Hillary might not be so bad as Pres... AND... it even surprises me to say this.

I'm watching Hillary much closer and becoming more and more impressed with her.. Oh, I'd better again because I can't believe I'm saying this.

If voting today.

Hillary vs. McCain======> probably Hillary ~ about 60/40

Obama vs. McCain======> Certainly McCain

Another thing.

It bothers me that my young DIL and other young female family members are voting for Hillary because she's a woman..... just as blacks voting for Obama because he's part black. Just bugs me. :icon_shrug:

So because the Candidate has a specific Gender and Race it makes the person qualified on that alone is in my opinion not the only reason to vote for someone. It should be the total package on all the issues from the Candidate that a person should vote for them.

Gender and Race are in my opinion should not be the discussed when a person goes and votes for any one Candidate.

I guess on Gender and race if a person is a Hermaphrodite or if a person who has equally a lot of races in them that is a Candidate in which we can not vote for them because they are not a specific Gender or Race. In my opinion that is sexist and racist. A person should vote for someone that has all the pieces of the pie that they are looking for not just one piece of the pie.

Just my thoughts there.
