    I only took 4 because the lighting was crap and there wasnt much happening. The Fire Dept. didnt arrive for 15 minutes. I havent read whether they inspected it and reopened it or not.

    I'm going to the game in Denver this year and it looks like my SD game will be the KC game (not positive on that one yet)

    Also going to Michael's Pub in Vegas for the London game. You guys should try to make that one... :icon_party:

    The plan is to stay at the Gold Coast or Orleans as they are the closest to Michael's.. Just a few miles down the street.

    We all stayed at the Gold Coast last year and liked it. Now if we could get a good deal at the RIO, that would be a really cool place to stay. The Rio is right across the street from Gold Coast and my vote would be to stay there if we could get a good deal. Otherwise, for the money, the Gold Coast would be the best place to stay.... :tup:

    I'm jealous!! I grew up in an era when girls weren't allowed to play football, and I would have loved to---I was a helluva kicker, if I do say so myself.

    Actually, I did have my own "glory days".........er, day. OK, all I really did was play a few downs in the traditional Powder Puff game during homecoming week in my junior year of high school, way back in the days before video games and MTV.

    It had been raining for days, so the field was a mess, but as anyone who's ever played mud football knows, it's great fun.

    So here I was, for some reason the coach sent me in as a running back, and I got the ball on the opponent's 40-yard line. I took off and got enough yardage for the first down, but then my foot hit a pile of slop and I went flying. Somehow, I managed to keep to my feet and gained five more yards before I went PLOP in the mud........and on the next play, my best friend caught a pass and scored the only touchdown we got all night.:tup:

    Ah, what great memories of the only athletic accomplishment of my entire life........:lol:

    An elderly gent was invited to an old friends' home for dinner one evening. He was impressed by the way his buddy preceded every request to his wife with endearing terms such as: Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin,etc. The couple had been married almost 70 years and, clearly, they were still very much in love.
