    My recollection is that Butler built that (4 Super Bowl) Bills team virtually entirely via the draft...
    almost certainly reinforced AJ's faith in that path...

    Exactly....... free agency should be used to fill-in spots as needed, but the only way to build a team with depth, is to draft well.

    Draft wisely, develop your players, and keep the good ones....... I think a former coach mentioned something about that last part. ;)

    Head coach, I want Whisenhunt. I trust Telescope will help rebuild the line, I think Whiz will come in and help out Rivers. He has history building great running, and passing offenses, and plus he WANTS to be here. Brings the intensity, and hard nosed attitude from Steelers organization. Called the play that won the steelers a superbowl, and also was a few minutes away from winning the bowl with the Cards to with a a team lead by Kurt Warner, who had been benched for matt lienart...

    I hope he does a good job. Other than that, I don't have much of an opinion on the matter. From the sound of the noise around this hiring we got a good man for the job.
