Being a 9-7 team backing into the playoffs after the HC gave up on his team with a QB who threw 20 INT's doesn't make the Jets a playoff juggernaut. The Jets play conservative so Sanchez doesn't lose the game for them. Once we score twice, the Jets won't be able to catch up, since their offense isn't designed to come from behind. :no:
He sure didn't try to make a big impact, though...he was obviously injured, and my friend who is a Jets season ticket holder said that it was a debilitating loss for two reasons: Ryan should not have been playing and the "big defense" failed when it mattered most.

I was kidding. Alworth and Winslow are two of my all time favorite players. It was a privledge to watch them play. I hated Stabler but I think he got screwed for being a dirtbag. He was better than Fouts but Fouts belongs.

We won 11 straight to get into the playoffs, and won our division, how did you get into the playoffs?? Greater than your team overall. Please you guys have been talking **** since 04 and have died in the playoffs with all the stats and talent for 5 straight years. Prior to 04, when you probably saw your first Charger game, before the Jets broke your heart, NFL football used to be a little different. They didn't allow OL to extend their arms, they allowed the DL to go to the head and didn't protect the QB. By the way the Hash marks used to be a little further out than they are today. Dilfer as much as he sucked has still done more than Rivers or Brees.

This Pats fan has become a true Chargers fan, and it really took some time, but I have been treated with respect on this board...smack talk doesn't work well for me...I'm not good at it, but I hate board trolls and bullies...BTW...the Jets are going down. Sanchez is good, and he is a nice man (I had him in an English class I subbed at Mission Viejo HS a few years ago), but he has yet to face what will come at him next Sunday.
