Ok, well we tried a new way to do the adopt-a-bolt thing this year and it's been a disaster. Ok, it sounded like a good idea to use Bolt Cash and the IShop to handle the adoptions. In my mind it would be a fair way to do it and it would give everyone an opportunity to get the player they wanted. Well the reality was that it didn't quite work out the way I had envisioned. Fortunately I'm smart enough to realize I was wrong. This is where we stand. The following adoptions happened before we had any problems: ADOPTED Luis Castillo (BoltsFanUK) Eric Weedle (carrie1219) Kassim Osgood (TBF) Anthony Waters (sickswonnyne) Malcom Floyd (bigmike.x.09) These people will get to keep their adopted players. For the rest of the players, this is how it will work. No Bolt Cash is required. If you wish to adopt a player, send me a PM with the five players you want most ranked from the player you want the most to the player of the five you want the least. Here is an example: 1) LaDanian Tomlinson 2) Philip Rivers 3) Antonio Gates 4) Shawne Merriman 5) Shane Olivea Once I get everyones list I will do a raffle to see who gets which player. There will be a separate raffle for each player and the higher you rank the player, the more chances you get in that raffle. In our example it would work like this: 1) LaDanian Tomlinson = 5 chances 2) Philip Rivers = 4 chances 3) Antonio Gates = 3 chances 4) Shawne Merriman = 2 chances 5) Shane Olivea = 1 chance If someone gets picked for more than one player, they will get to pick between those players and the players not selected will have another person selected from the raffle to be the adopter. Obviously for betting and buying Ishop things right now.... We'll get the ability to exchange Bolt Cash in the future---once the glitches are worked out.
I seem to be accumulating more Bolt Cash per post since I placed my bet in the Vbookie session... Don't know if that's a fluke or not but thought I'd mention it. It's prolly a fluke so don't have my head if it doesn't work for you...

Bolt Cash is virtual currency that you can spend to buy stuff in the IShop or gamble in the vBookie area. When you buy things, you can give them to other people. You have a rose because someone gave it to you.
Hi Chiefsgal... Welcome back... I've missed you. With Bolt Cash you have the ability to spend money in the Ishop... to purchase things for yourself or others. As you can see the rose in your profile indicates that someone sent you a little rose. Click on Chiefgal's stuff and you can start shopping. You do gain small amounts of money by posting so post away. You can also makes bets in the Vbookie section. I'm finding this to be a very fun part of the forum. If you have questions most everyone in that section will be happy to help you.
