Garbage? It was written by the Chicago guys, not the SD press.

Open your eyes, L. You couldn't see Chicago gameplanning? And you're watching the game right now?

It all starts on the line. This is where the war is won or lost.

    You know it.

    I know it.

And the mother fugging broken down fence post out in the North Forty knows it.

That's as bizarre a statement as wanting your team to gameplan in the preseason.

I can understand the nature of a fan to want to "air it out" or see play X while BS'ing in a gameday thread, but on reflection while analyzing the game, and to list "playcalling" as a concern in the preseason is ill informed and illogical.

I can resort to stick figures and refer to max protect packages to pick up your jailhouse break.

    Now what ?

You need a quick draw McGraw.

    A gunslinger.

    A dude like Rivers.

Who the fuc have we had to throw a long bomb to in preseason ?

    Vincent Jackson scratched his labia.

Parker has his thumb healing in his ***.

And McCardell ain't blowing doors off since a long time ago.

    Gates is a lumbering beast.

I guess Mama needs to learn how to run some post patterns... :icon_eek: :icon_banana:

L - did you take some brain limiting pills this morning?

They call plays to see how people perform individually and as a group. Did you notice the 5-6 sweep left plays vs. GB inthe 3rd quarter last week?

It's not about gameplanning in the preseason. If you do that, you start to show tendencies of film for opponents to work you in the regular season.

But keep living in that little world of yours ......

I noticed there was little passing in the gameplan against the Bears but still he didn't throw very well in comparisson. Again he threw 1/3 less passes then vs GB but this was a somewhat bad game for him. Live with it and we'll see what happens and what's the game plan against the Sea hawks.

Ups: Front 7, Stephen Cooper (loved him going up over a blocker), Marlon Mcree, Nate Kaeding, Michael Turner, Cletis Gordon
Downs: Run blocking, Leander Jordan, Mike Goff, penalties, Cromartie (taunting....wtf?!)

Yesterday meant nothing. The defense played conservative, none of them were going full speed and we didn't open up the playbook on either side of the ball. On offense we didn't have our regulars in there and the WRs couldn't get open, focing Rivers to hang on to the ball and eventually dump it off for minimal gains.

All you have to do is look at runs vs passes
Rivers threw ALOT in the first game (a test), this time he ran a more conservative offense

If I'm not mistaken we ran the same number of passing plays as running plays last night in the first half. 17 of each I think.

In the second half, it was like 16 passing to 8 running.

Gates had concentration lapses last year. In 2004 he was much more focused IMO. Stallworth is extremely inconsistent and although he put up close to 1000 yards last year it's really not indicative of what he would bring to our team.
