The Bolts showed some moxy coming back in that game. The lesson from this game is simple: Don't dig yourself a hole early in the game. The offensive line isn't as bad as it looked today. When the crowd is deafeningly loud it's almost impossible for linemen to get off the ball. I don't see this as a game that kills us. I actually see this game as somewhat of a positive. PR showed the ability to play in a hostile environment. He didn't go Ryan Leaf on us. To me, if this game demonstrated anything it's that we can't always come out early in the game forcing the ball to LT. Once you start throwing the ball, then LT can have some success, but we came out today and played right into what their defense was expecting. They get the early fumble and that got their crowd into it, gave them great field position, and started the downhill slide in the first half. We should start games using LT mostly as a decoy and taking advantage of the defense overcommitting to stop him. We're going to destroy the Chiefs when they come to SD. They won't have the advantage of our o-line using a silent count letting them get off the ball a step early every snap.
