You better believe it. Football is back. Since it's bad luck to start the official gameday thread until the day of the game, we had to wait until this very moment to do it. But, the time is now!!!! Gameday is here. The first of many. It's officially football season, and this is going to be a season to remember.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to garbage time to watch McKinney.

I'm just looking forward to being there, tailgating, seting up the webcam, drinking beer, drinking mimosas, drinking whiskey, drinking tequilla, having a few beers, & watching some football.

Merriman is gonna be a beast this year. It's just insane the potential this kid has. Add that to his work ethic and the sky is the limit. The only thing that stop Merriman is himself if he ever starts to think he's bigger than the game. Fortunately I don't see that happening.

We are meeting at 11:15ish at the McDonands by Costco. Gates open at noon. I have so much beer, I had to get another ice chest.

Dunno if I'll get there that early. I gotta get some sleep.

NOT only can I not go being here in Bama...but they didn't get my Directv equipment in yesterday and so it obviously can't be installed today since it didn't arrive and UPS doesn't run on Saturdays. I've went from amazingly excited to totally depressed. :-(
