The War in the West isn't over

I realize this is going to seem way overly optimistic but screw it, I'm a real Chargers fan. Not one of the band wagon fans who only have love for the Bolts when LT is racking up yards & TDs & Cromartie is picking Peyton 3 times in a game.

So here it is...We should win tomorrow in KC and then at home against Oakland. Right? Right!

Denver could very well lose at Baltimore and against Pit. We know Denver wont collapse but losing to Baltimore & Pittsburgh would by no means be considered collapse. Just losses to really good teams.

If those things happen where will we be in the standings? It all depends on what we do in New York. Either way with those two losses by Denver and our two wins we come back from NY 2 games back or 1 if we pull out a win there.
Would you guys really be calling the season over if we were 2 games or 1 game behind Denver after week 9?

I sure as hell wouldn't! So I'm not going to call it over now.

Against division rivals, the Broncos should win all 6 and the Chargers mostly likely will win only 4. That puts the Chargers 2 games behind in division standing. If the Broncos doesn't have another collapse, then it will win the division. All Chargers shoot for is the Wildcard, and that just is too earlier to speculate.

ITS NOT OVER AT ALL. But the league gives the chargers an elite schedule year after year. We play some good teams down the stretch. We have to play the giants ealges cowboys bengals and broncos still after playing the broncos ravens and steelers so far... If we don't win 3/5 of these fairly tough games and every other game there will be no chance of playoffs!

We do win in KC and we'll get positive vibrations!

I do too but the ONLY way I'll get excited is if we beat someone credible. If we beat the Gnats, Donks, and maybe even the Eagles... I'll get excited.

how bout we just celebrate the fact that we beat the crap out of the Chiefs in all 3 phases on their field. move onto the next one with a positive attitude and we can talk about the Giants in two weeks.

I am. 13 is my lucky number and I expect the win streak to continue. Though I want a Super Bowl.
