Everything that is right or reasonable pleads for separation....the weeping voice of nature cries, 'tis time to part.” Thomas Paine, Common Sense, 1776

I'm sorry but enough is enough. I've had all I can stand on this from both Norv Turner and AJ Smith (who I blame for the hiring Norv Turner AND for the poor job selecting talent to keep this team competitive). They both need to go. This team looks like it's hit rock bottom and it plays like it. Parts of the team show heart but other parts (the parts Norv Turner most has his fingers on) look pathetic and stale. This team can't make any real improvements until the leadership at the top is changed.

    Fire Norv
    Fire AJ Smith

I'd like someone to give me one reason Norv shouldn't be forced to walk home.

Bisaccia deserves a shot to turn the mentality over the next 9 games.

Why does Bisaccia deserve anything? Isnt he the coach that allows Goodman to run anything and everything out, putting our O on a longer field?

    No to Bisaccia.

Atleast if we fire Norv now, we still have his playbook so we won't need to start all over on offense. Even though it might be better.

Give Bissacia a chance, I was calling for it at the end of last season, and will continue to this year. ****, Hal Hunter could do a better job than Norv.

Goodman has also returned kicks for 20+ yards over 15 times in 6 games this year. Who else do we have better again? You want to risk Royal getting hurt? Goodman is the best choice. He hasn't fumbled or anything yet.

Bissacia also turned a specials team unit from horrible to solid the last 2 years.

    Pagno maybe.
Hunter, shoot me. For what the job he's done with our O-line? A DISASTER.
Joiner, our WRs aren't much better than our O-line right now.
the water boy, I'll consider it further.

Disagree. They played well in the 2nd half against the BROWNS. They had trouble stopping Richardson in the first half.
Also, anyone who promotes Pagano based upon the Ds performance against the skid marks has a very short memory. This is the guy who presided over incredibly soft 2nd half performances against the Broncos and Saints.

In typical Spanos fashion, we will get a cut rate coach to replace Norv. We will not be the only team looking for a coach (Eagles, Browns, ...) and those teams will pay properly for their coach.

Frankly, I think my 7-year-old grandson could out-coach Norv Turner at this point. What the hell is it gonna take to get rid of him---total implosion? Like if we lose all the rest of our games this season?

I know he is not the only man responsible for the poor play, but he does NOT have the killer instinct to be a top-line coach in the NFL today. He's not even decent OC material anymore either. He needs to go, and soon. And I don't care who replaces him right now......this season is already in the toilet, why not put in someone as an interim HC and then figure it all out in the offseason?

Gruden will not coach San Diego. The run Defense was rated #1 in the league coming into today, the pass defense 30th or something? Atari Bigby is a 'hard hitter' with horrible tackling technique who dropped a sure pick six, Jammer is old and Cason is a tool, so don't blame Pagano. The bottom line is Norv won't be fired until the off season, if it all. I'm starting to believe the conspiracy theorists who believe Spanos is trying to piss off San Diego fans to facilitate a move to LA.

    Don't promote him either.
Also, Ingram should be getting a bunch more snaps. You can blame Pagano for that.

I don't think the season is necessarily in the toilet...our weak division and relatively weak schedule might see us eke in or at least still be 'in the hunt' the last two weeks. But the issue is the team plays bad when in front, can't come from behind, and the offense looks harmless. I worry that a run or getting into the playoffs will mean Norv stays. I'd say AJ has to go too, it's his time to find his way down that proverbial highway.

that is so true. Its as if he does not want to win, or he is unwilling to pay for talent.

Ingrams penalty may have cost us the NO game, he also pulled back and ran into the punter on a sure block on what Dan Fouts called a 'terrible non call'....I think limiting his snaps considering you have Philips, Butler, Spikes not the idiocy you imply it is. I never said promote him to HC either, I just said the poor performance of Cason, Jammer, Bigby are just a pile of crap he has to work with.

Yeah I know, I just was grabbing a fish taco and the charger fan behind me was on the phone saying 'I don't think Norv will make it through this season." To which his wife replied...."That's you said last year"....then he said "Allright man, I'm gonna go drink."

Make it a double my fellow bolts fan.

The chargers played a good ball security game today in foul weather and came real close to a win. They must have been cold out there today with the bad weather and all that was going against them.
