This has gone on long enough. AJ and Norv both need to be shown the door Now. Waiting until the offseason should not even be an option. These guys have been living on borrowed time for far too long. AJ has perennially ignored the O-line (Clary is a liability) and Norv is a horrible game manager and playcaller... And that is just the tip of their collective iceberg of dysfunction. I offer no candidates for their replacement but I am heartily in favor of their termination.

The Browns played in the same weather. Meachum and Bigby drops, bad play calling, bad throws, Matthews fumbles, where are you seeing a silver lining to this? So if we got blown out by the Browns that changes your perspective?

Any of them. I just dont see what a life time ST coach has done to earn the spot over all the others.

Does it matter? They'll be a temporary coach with a real coach likely to be interviewed as soon as the season is over

Does it matter? No as none of us have a say. But what makes the ST coach the resounding choice. I am not a flavor of the moment type guy.

this was one of those old time defensive battles and the Chargers came up just a little short. Norv sure changed up the offense, just like he said he would.

Agree on Cason and Jammer. Completely disagree on Ingram. Also, he was getting limited snaps before his rookie moves. Additional point is that playing English when Phillips went down in NO was a huge mistake. We need QB pressure, get our best pass rusher in there.

Absolving Pagano of any blame for 2 consecutive 2nd half collapses is bit strange. Yes, the CBs are horrible. But Pagano hasn't delivered on his promises of increased QB pressure. Now that's a trait common to all of Norv's DCs, so how much of it is game planning, how much is the actual DC play calling, it's tough to say. All the same: legendary collapses in the 2nd half = problems at DC.

The time to cut ties with Norv is after the season is over and he's guaranteed us the 1st overall pick. Firing him now might result in the team winning, and pushing us out of the top 5.

Norv's tenure w/ the Chargers has been a steady, measured decline since our 14-2 season. How is this not obvious to the ownership? Why has NOTHING been done? We are now at the point where we give up 24-0 leads and lose to the CLEVELAND BROWNS.

    FIRE NORV

This was a good character building game for the Bolt's. They played in one doozie of a storm against a tough Browns defense and almost pulled this game out. What a solid effort against all odds.

tell that to John Harbaugh, Bisaccia is already the Assistant head coach so I think he should be first option, who knows maybe he can bring some discipline and fire out of these scrubs

okay, he already showed he does something Norv does not. And thats making 2nd half adjustments.

We have the d-line to be top 5 rush d in the league, but the secondary is terrible. Cason and Jammer both are garbage. What exactly is Pagano supposed to do? He plays coverage they get burned, he plays man they get burned. That's not his fault.

And when your offense doesn't get **** done, aka 3 & outs, and turn the ball over doesn't help much for the D.

You forgot to mention the hostile crowd during the last drive, those 2,000 fans left were rocking

Well, my reasoning for Basaccia over Pagano is that you could leave Pagano to continue working with the D (not sure if that's good or not) and give Basaccia a 9 game audition

I don't want a coach, who has been a lifetime ST coach, OL coach, or anything else not a head coach. Whoever said Brady Hoke, I would second that. I love the guy. I was just having this conversation with a friend of mine here. But even more so I want a coach like Bill Cowher, John Gruden, or someone who has a super bowl ring. I know they aren't popular picks, but right now it's what this team needs.

The problem lies, with this team playing flat, not being prepared, and being soft. We need someone who has been there before, and knows what it takes to get it done.

I'm all about Hoke being the answer. Problem is I don't think he'll leave Michigan before he even really gets started.

this is one of those games where I want the stadium empty, just to show Spanos that the fans are mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore

That may be true, I also doubt that AEG even as a minority owner, would be happy buying in with Norv and AJ in place.
