I actually don't think they want to move to LA, they have spent 10 years trying to work thing out in SD (I keep telling myself that)
I don't think they wanted to, but I also believe they have got to be near their breaking point, and with their lease buyout being much cheaper this year, and no obstetrical remaining in LA, I can't see they staying in SD only to cross their fingers that the new mayor will get something done, while they watch another team go into LA
Meachem and Royal have worn out their welcome in Dego. I didn't expect them to be great but I did think they'd contribute. They haven't done Shyte and should offer to give back the money they stole.
Please don't take this the wrong way but, WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!?!?! everytime there is a fire norv sign waiving Gruden and Cowher's names are the very first to be brought up. Name one big name person was brought into this organization at any position? I'll wait .................................................................................................... When people were yelling to bring in Nnamdi they politely declined, Mario Williams, Even Kamerion Wimbley. no no no we get the Eddie Royal's, Robert Meachem's and Jarrett Johnson's Travis Laboys, Chris Chambers The only reason people were ready to celebrate a lombardi trophy in April was because that was the biggest Haul of misfit toys we as fans have seen in a long time, we actually thought they cared, fool me once shame on them fool me twice............................................
is all that Norv's fault or does it start with AJ? Now dont get me wrong I am not defending Norv, as I am on record for being on the "FIRE NORV" bandwagon. But we do not get any of the upper class free agents, we get the leftovers.
It starts with dean and the S**t rolls down hill, but I 100% believe that we have enough talent to be a playoff contender, and not just a the best of 4 crappy teams in a crappy division. The Chargers are talented enough to have been a 10 win team and dominant team in our terrible division over the last few years.
Its for all of them Spanos, AJ, Norv, Acee, Jimmy, AG, Gus the mail clerk Norv does have his say in who we draft or who he coaches. Obviously (I feel like a tool for saying that because of Norv by the way) you're not going to bring in a guy who specializes in zone blocking when you only run man to man
but then again we no longer have Darren Sproles, Vincent Jackson, Marcus McNeil and several other key players. All they did was replace them with "NFL CALIBER" players. Gates is now one year older and is not the same player he was just two years ago. We really do not have a player that is stepping up and making those huge plays when we need one, and that goes on both sides of the ball. Denver is now the best in the West with Manning in there. They sure tore up New Orleans last night, and overcoming that 24 point deficit is going to give them an added swagger that will be hard to beat.
AJ hired Norv. So literally, it all starts with AJ. Course Spanos hired AJ, but we're stuck with Spanos.
The Chargers need a Head Coach, Norv is great at what he knows best and that is offense. It's painfully obviously that Royal and Meachem are chuck and duck brand receivers, maybe they'll catch on, maybe they wont but they are what Norv has to work with. Other than Norv, the offensive is the biggest problem.
Here is your one reason: The Cruelty to the Elderly Act. You may be in violation of this act if he's forced to walk home. Dude is old. You need to call him a seniors bus to take him home.
Yeah we should have spent $100M on Mario Williams and another $50M on Brandon Carr. Seems to really be working out for those teams.
Carr looked pretty good against Manning in week 1... Not that I've been watching many Dallas games other than that one.
No you said you dont see what a lifelong ST's coach has done to earn a HC job I was just saying Harbaugh earned it not that Bisaccia is him. Maybe Bisaccia can do it maybe he can't but I think he deserves a shot just as anyone else, the fact that he was promoted the assistant head coach tells me he has done more than You or I know
and we are pretty much stuck with anything Spanos gives us. I think we all have reached our saturation point in this whole mess. But until this team moves out of San Diego, I will continue to call them my team. I may not like what I am seeing, but they are still my team.
And with AJ here we dont have to worry about getting those free agents now do we! And as far dealing with draft busts, I was here for cryn Ryan, it doesnt get any worse than that.
We didn't have VJ in 2010 when Rivers lead the NFL in passing yards, so I am not concerned with his loss. But the loss of McNeil and Dielman, along with the utter failure to improve the right side of the line, are HUGE reasons why we are where we are. I agree with you, but I still think the talent is enough to truly compete in the division, but they aren't even doing that.
yeah your totally right.. Rush D: 2nd in the league Pass D: 21st in the league Total D (YPG): 10th in the league PPG: 9th in the league Forced Turnovers: 17 Let's check out the offense.. Rush O: 20th in the league Pass O: 21st in the league Total O (YPG): 25th in the league PPG: 18th in the league Turnovers: 19 your right, Pagano's unit is the problem here.. Bissacia & Pagano have put our offense in the best positions to win games by forcing turnovers and putting our Offense inside the opponents half. And turnovers and bad offensive play calling have lead this team to kicking field goals in the red zone or punting the ball back.
Typical response, why dont we use another washed up reject from within the organization. They know how to lose, so why dont we just carry on with that fine tradition.
