For Jody Gerut.
He's flying in around 6pm and will be in uniform for the game tonight.
He took the Number 18.
Can someone explain this trade to me? I don't get it. :icon_shrug:
They could have had Jr. for nothing and kept Gerut.
They did get him for next to nothing.
They traded a guy with a .248 OBP for him.
If Jody had been traded for a player not named Gwynn, would the response be any different?
I like the trade. It also saves a little money...Gwynn will make the league minimum from what I read.
Gwynn belongs in San Diego, glad to see him in our uni.
Looking forward to the Brewers save chances with Gwynn in the lineup :lol
If Gerut's last name was Giles would you be upset that we traded a player with a .248 OBP?
...and scored the winning run in tonight's game. You couldn't write this stuff up in a Hollywood script! Amazing...........
Tony Gwynn Jr headed to the DL, Jody Gerut signed to minor league contract.
bummer, he's been solid in the outfield.
funny we got Jody Gerut back.
Separate names with a comma.
