Raiders took him because nobody else wanted the job. AJ took him because he wanted Marty gone at all cost. Firing Marty in April, he had to settle for what was available. As of now... AJ will NEVER admit he ****ed up!!!

WTF are you talking about? Rex Ryan, Mike Singletary, and Ron Rivera were available for that job as well. Norv wasn't the only one they interviewed. And yes, I realize that makes it sound worse but I wasn't really trying to disagree with you, moreso just point out an inaccurate assessment.
It's not within AJ's capacity to fire Norv. If he's not gone after the season you have to point the finger to Dean Spanos. I won't be naive and suggest AJ shouldn't be partially blamed for hiring Norv because he probably campaigned for him, but he can not fire the guy.
I wouldn't fire Norval just yet. It's already mid season so they have to sleep in the bed they made. You don't just change head coaches mid season if you still have a shot at being a contender. I'd fire him the second the team was eliminated from playoff contention. But, at the same time, I wouldn't fault the team for waiting until the offseason, but if he's not gone at that point I'll start getting (more) pissed about the situation.
I know that but AJ didn't choose them. Had AJ just let Marty finish out his contract, other great coaches would have been available.
But your post said he had to "settle for what was available" like as though Norv was the best of the bunch. I think I'd rather have Singletary or Rex Ryan right now. I wanted Singletary when the decision was being made.
